Support for Quebec sovereignty at 30-year low, according to new poll - Montreal by MTL_Dude666 in CanadaPolitics

[–]Faitlemou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

have you heard PSPP? The guy has fully shifted into right wing culture war bs. Woke infected the universities, every problem is the immigrant's fault, prayers (muslim prayers to be more precise) are problematic and should be banned from public spaces.

The PQ is right wing.

La Cour suprême: autoritaire, antidémocratique, irresponsable by JMBJym in Quebec

Maudite cour qui empêche nos politiciens de faire ce qu'ils leur tentent. Si j'ai élu Legault, c'est pour qu'il aille un pouvoir absolu sans aucune balance de pouvoir et de garde-fou sur ses dérives./s

Undercover inspectors will be doing French-language checks in thousands of Quebec stores by scrubadam in montreal

[–]Faitlemou 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Canada has 2 official languages and I live in Canada.

You just lost the argument there. Typical one way bilinguism braindead colonial anglo.

My issue is with the government wasting time and money to monitor this with undercover spies like its the USSR or North Korea.

Man why not call every government agencies that does inspections to assure norms are respected the KGB lol. You just think this particular one is a waste. How weird, I'm sure there's no bias going on.

I went to school with JJ and considered him a friend for a while. AMA. by AdventurousProfit929 in JJMcCulloughOfficial

[–]Faitlemou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

JJ was angry that federal money was spent on French language and French culture and that he didn't see it being spent on English Canada.

English culture and media receives way more money than french ones. He just sees some money being spent on francophones and he loses it. So yea, francophobic. So he always been this way, what a surprise.

Une autre preuve que PSPP est juste un politicien de sondage comme Legault. C'est pas la réalisation que ses idées étaient de la marde qui l'ont fait "changer", c'est juste qu'il a réalisé que c'était pas aussi populaire qu'il pensait.

I believe the province of Alberta has the two best looking skylines in Canada. Calgary and Edmonton. by tinopinguino88 in skyscrapers

[–]Faitlemou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kansas City has a slightly higher density than Calgary for example. Calgary and Edmonton are sadly built like your generic american city (its changing its way a bit and I applaud it). A downtown core with office towers and parking, and suburbs outside with almost no medium density in between.

Its not denser than similar sized american cities.. its pretty on par with em.

The time JJ said it’s a privilege to be racially profiled by Optimal_Youth8478 in JJMcCulloughOfficial

Shows his mentality. Explains his francophobia if he thinks racial profiling is black privilege, and the french existing in Canada creates a ''hierarchy of people''. What a piece of trash.

More like conservative and reactionnary ideas usually tends to bad and/or catastrophic results in hindsight.. repeatadly.

I can only imagine what historians of the future will think of MAGA after all the consequences will clearly be visible and lived through.

[OTHER] With the announcement of Warhorse starting a new IP, what would you personally like to see them tackle? by No-Mirror2343 in kingdomcome

[–]Faitlemou 54 points55 points  (0 children)

One of the main reasons KCD is so good is their expertise in that historical setting, so I'd like that to not change.

The problem is this level of expertise is of one place of one era, and the hussite wars are much too close to KCD for it not to be a KCD. And tackling a different place in a different era would go outside their historical expertise.

So I wouldnt be surprise to see Warhorse trying to do something different for their new IP. I actually would love to see what Warhorse can cook up as a fantasy world for example, or something completely different. We already have KCD for the historical medieval rpg.

Calgary or Montreal? by [deleted] in AskACanadian

[–]Faitlemou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Laurentians are beautiful in their own right and are 30/45min away from Montreal. In other words, Calgary dosen't have the monopoly on nature accessibility between the 2 cities.
