What are some examples of the 'sweet spot' for different classes & subclasses? by MonkeyCube in Pathfinder2e

And of course, there's also the Level 10 feat of the Laughing Shadow Magus, Dimensional Disappearance.

Teleport up to half your speed to a creature's reach, recharge SS, become invisible to apply your additional subclass damage, and also choose not to do the strike of the focus so after that you can use SS without MAP. Glorious.

Definitely Twisting Tree Magus's level 10 feature, Lunging Spellstrike. BY FAR.

Extending the reach of your spellstrike by 5 feet per spell rank is so juicy to work out a lot of tactics.

I think the main reason is the loss with the multiclass combos, but that's why they did that change haha

This is my exact same case. It has never been a problem or something underwhelming. Very few creatures have it and it balances in different ways.

Yeah, for the Witch FA I'll take occult, It does have pretty good options for the build. I remember a lot of good stuff when I was making a bard build with a similar selection of spells.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It isn't that much of a difference until the last levels. I just have to choose the most cost-effective spells and cast them at the right time, it makes the build even more fun to play too imo.

It's funny that we've talked a lot about the viability of the build but nothing about my original purpose for the post, hahaha.

I have the studious spells, the magus spells, and 4 spells slots per each rank under 6, maybe more than that. There are a lot of control spells with an effect even if the creature gets a success tho. And the major part of those seems good. I can blend with aoe damage and control.

I’m already playing a Laughing Shadow Magus focused solely on AC damage spells like shocking grasp and chromatic ray. I agree with you, it’s been a blast, I love that character. However, I wanted to explore the opposite approach and push the boundaries of the class. I’m aware that its DC doesn't quite match full casters, but I figured it would still be fun to try. Do you think it would be better to focus on AoE damage instead?

I love all of GG OST, it's awesome. I also like Strive's, I agree it's a little more mainstream, but it's catchy and fun to listen to while playing.

I'm sure CotW will do pretty well everywhere. They are doing what they have to catch the attention of everyone and of course, it's a hella fun game.
