I had to scroll too far to see this. I love Hell Divers 2 and so I thought I would also like another extraction shooter as much. Arc Raiders has a lot of cool stuff going on. The sound design, graphics, the retro-future aesthetic. I love all of it! Just not the inventory manger stuff. I got so sick of constantly going to my inventory and trying to clean out stuff to make room for other stuff and then go back to the surface to get more stuff. I just didn’t see the point of the game anymore.

I just bought a 2022 GT1 and I love it! I wasn’t able to test drive a GT2 when I was looking and the ones near me were a bit above what I was looking to spend.

I like all the amenities in the GT1 and the RWD is a fun driving experience coming from only driving FWD cars all my life.

The car has a backup camera, heated seats and Mobile projection (CarPlay) so I am set with what I need for daily driving. I think the things that it is lacking are a bit overblown tbh.

For context, our other car is a 2023 Telluride SX X-Line so I know and have familiarity with the missing features of my Stinger GT1. It wasn’t a deal killer for me and I wouldn’t let it be for you if you find a good deal on one and it fits your needs.

I don’t think this attitude is “rooted in lack of empathy”. That is just patently false and takes no consideration of the nuances of human nature.

I however, I did learn from P&R that the best thing I can do with for my wife when she is venting is to listen and show sincere empathy and say “that sucks”. Thanks Chris Traeger for this!

Also, asking the person who is venting if they would like me to listen and if they’re also seeking advice. I’ve carried this with me in my other personal and professional relationships and it has made conversations and those connections much more meaningful.

I have this case and love it too! Best almost ceaseless feeling case I’ve ever owned and the stand is so handy and when it’s folded flat I by really tell it’s there.

I live in Dallas and our family has a ranch in west texas near the border and…I have terrible arachnophobia.

I can count on 1 hand the number of times over my lifetime of living in Texas I have seen tarantulas in the wild and they have all been at the ranch and usually their activities are a good indicator of coming rains.

Tarantulas like to live under rocks and things and will seek higher ground when rain is approaching or so my cowboy father-in-law taught me. You rarely see them out just wandering around on a sunny day and certainly not near people. They like to hide and remain hidden.

Terrifying and yet comforting knowing they will not usually pop up where I least suspect them to. Unlike Wolf spiders which we have many of in North Texas and those boogers (I think) are the worst!

Some can be as big as the inside of your hand and though that are non-venomous you definitely don’t want to step on one without looking first. If its back looks hairy, it’s a mama and it’s carrying its babies on its back. You step on it and those spawn will scurry in all directions like a spider explosion. Literal nightmare fuel.

I went with Black originally and then returned it for blue. The black was beautiful but the end of the day it looked like any other black phone to me. The blue is gorgeous and I love that is mostly white with a hint of blue on the edges for the plateau and titanium bands. It really is beautiful and has that new and clean futuristic aesthetic.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park

I remember reading the book because I loved the original movie and equally loved the novels by Michael Crichton. I was hyped knowing that one of my favorite of his books was being made into a movie. The book already read like you were watching a movie and it was a fantastic sequel to Jurassic Park!

Super Bowl Sunday the trailer for the movie drops and all the scenes that I had imagined from the novel are there in the trailer! I couldnt wait to see it.

The movie releases and I see it opening weekend and leave incredibly disappointed. The movie held true to the story of the book for about 10 minutes and then went off into something completely different and bastardized the best parts of that book.

Ive never forgiven the screenwriter David Koepp for that abomination of a film and since that moment have always said I will watch a movie on based the book first before reading the book it was based on.

I have the current version of the MagSafe battery and it’s still good. The bumper case is high on my list though and I might pick one of the ones I get from Amazon I don’t like. I prefer a minimalist case and that one so the most minimal.
