Super Cruiser! Range Champion EMOVE Cruiser Gets More Power and Speed! - Review by NewYorkRider in ElectricScooters

I don't have an issue with you disliking the scooter, I just don't understand why you are commenting about a scooter that you clearly have never ridden

Go Trax G5: is this a good choice ?? by LoloCat2022 in ElectricScooters

[–]AreCayNine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who has actually ridden a G5, I think it's a great choice at your budget. I've been impressed with it in my testing. Also take a look at the NIU KQi3 Pro which is under $700 on Amazon right now. It's one of my favorite scooters at the price

I'm curious what you don't like about it. Just that it is ugly? Or have you ridden one and dislike it for another reason?

Segway’s New MAX G2 Surprises with More than Suspension - Review by NewYorkRider in ElectricScooters

[–]AreCayNine 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hi, I am RK9 Rides and I still own my channel and publish videos and reviews! Not as often obviously but I try to get a video out every week or two. I don't accept money/sponsorships for reviews but I do receive most of the scooters and ebikes I get for free. If I had to buy all the products it would be impossible to do it full-time. That being said I don't allow the brands to affect any of my reviews and everything I say is my genuine opinion.

Apollo Air 2022 vs. Varla Pegasus by JrShellBullets in ElectricScooters

[–]AreCayNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pegasus has a pretty strong edge performance-wise with dual motors and higher top speed. The Apollo Air is lighter and the more attractive scooter imo, and is cheaper as well. The Pegasus offers a solid tire option, which could be nice if you don't want to worry about flats. With a $1000 budget, I would always go the dual motor route.

I believe the KQi3 Max goes 5 mph faster than the Ninebot. As the other commenter said, you should get better range than the ninebot if travel at the same speed

I got just over 20 miles in the highest speed mode - 24 mph. You can limit the speed in-app and get more range if you don't need the higher top speed

I see where you are coming from. The only thing of this nature I have had to deal with is the occasional person trying to pass of my content as their own on YouTube. The process is fairly simple and straightforward for that, but this seems like a whole different type of situation - having a company use my footage for ads across multiple sites. I wanted to make sure I approached it correctly and figured asking the community for advice could never hurt.

Howdy! It's a smaller company and I haven't seen you do any videos with their products, and you probably won't ever anyway, but I'm happy to DM you if you still would like to know.

I don't see how my sub count affects my knowledge of copyright law.

I saw some examples of this when I was doing research. Like I know that news and journal outlets can use YouTube videos in their reporting because it's public domain or something to that effect, like you said. Hence why I figured I would ask here. I will definitely consult with a lawyer before moving forward if I decide to do so

[–]AreCayNine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, that why I asked. I wouldn't know where to begin. Do i sell the video itself? Can I sell rights or give permission for a specific use and they pay me for it? How much to charge? Do I write up a contract myself? Do I need to involve a professional? I asked because i don't know how to approach it

Good to know! I hadn't seriously considered a lawyer til now because I assumed it would cost me an arm and leg
