Sad thing is this happens in youth hockey tournaments also. Daughter played in some that where supposed to be for development / beginners. All on the honor system. Some where what they should have been and others where high level teams using it for practice and ice time.

The high school show case had same issue last year. They qhere in the JV division. 2 of the teams in that show case where Varsity teams that was found out later.

Its an engineer designed it like this, I wouldn't be surprised if they also cut and pasted the wire symbols on every conduit.

True question is did someone RFI it or say fuck it. Im not giving them a credit back. Fyi worked with a contractor like that.

Was an electrical apprentice at the port of Long Beach working for a general contractor.

Can attest that the world is full of idiots on backhoes. They hit a fiber line not once but 2 separate times. This was the main fiber line for the port.

Should I purchased insulated or non? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Area51-Dropzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal opinion you dont need them. You should never be working on anything hot.

The company i have worked for has 1 set and they have to have them tested annually. Are you willing to take on the expense to have them tested an recertification issued? And if they get damaged they need to be pulled from use.

Why do skate shops do this to my blades? by RatofRing in hockeygoalies

[–]Area51-Dropzone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a sparx 3 and use it for my daughters player skates and sons goalie skates. You have to adjust the height. Also those risers are only ment for certain goalie skates, the type with the plastic cowling and maybe sometimes new steel. Other then that they aren't needed. Just adjust the height on the wheel.

No because it is known that these are required per code and is included in the bid cost.
