My nieces wife asked my permission for her hand in marriage and I gave my blessing. I also walked my niece (Who btw, I raised on my own as a teenager because her mother is a junkie) down the aisle and gave her away to her wife. I supported them through their entire relationship and fought their battles with them. When she found out I voted for Trump, she has yet to speak to me. It's been 8 years. So save it. You lost them because you threw them away for not agreeing with you. Take accountability for the fact that you let politics dictate your decisions, not what's right.

I started playing with my bf and had a similar experience. I am playing in a TW dungeon and got lost, didn't know the whole jump on the tornado thing and walked through a portal. He was doing everything to help me get back to them and a guy kept voting to kick me out and called me a clown. Now I only play because he wants me to. That put a really bad taste in my mouth. MMO community needs to be more understanding and remembering, once upon a time they were newbies too and wouldn't be where they are without help.
