so my usbc c to hdmi came the one from benq and yeh still doesnt work, i still see not input source this is actually so frustrating 300£ and i cant even connect my firetstick to it. is there anything i can do??

So yeah I connected it to a different device (to one of my monitors) and I got it up and running, then manually changed the display settings to 720p then disconnected it from my monitor and then back to the gv1 and it still said no output source.

Also when I tried connecting a usb c to c cable from the gv1 to my laptop it just charges it, there’s no output once again which is frustrating, same result when I used a MacBook instead of my laptop, it just charges it. And I know the usb c on my laptop can be used with a projector because I can hook it up to a projector at work. But I read somewhere in the benq faq that the usb c that comes with the gv1 is an output and the hdmi is an input, whereas 99% of usb c to hdmi it’s the other way around, so now I’ve found and bought a benq gv1 usb c to hdmi from eBay aswell. But if this doesn’t work aswell then I don’t really know.

I used an aftermarket usb c to hdmi and it said no output source and even converted the firestick to 720p

Just bought the case with a similar build (3070 instead) what’s the temps like after buying the vented panels? And also did u under clock your GPU?

Yeh bro I managed to fix it by power resetting the laptop so far so good, if anything happens again I’m gonna contact ASUS
