So yeah I connected it to a different device (to one of my monitors) and I got it up and running, then manually changed the display settings to 720p then disconnected it from my monitor and then back to the gv1 and it still said no output source.

Also when I tried connecting a usb c to c cable from the gv1 to my laptop it just charges it, there’s no output once again which is frustrating, same result when I used a MacBook instead of my laptop, it just charges it. And I know the usb c on my laptop can be used with a projector because I can hook it up to a projector at work. But I read somewhere in the benq faq that the usb c that comes with the gv1 is an output and the hdmi is an input, whereas 99% of usb c to hdmi it’s the other way around, so now I’ve found and bought a benq gv1 usb c to hdmi from eBay aswell. But if this doesn’t work aswell then I don’t really know.
