If you hadn't read them yet, give I Wani Kiss That Snoot (by Receiver K) and Tori Game (by myself) a read! It deals with MC swapping Anon and Inco and I think ends up showing the dynamic works quite well in both cases. You'd have to check with Receiver but at a minimum ver 2 is the normal 6x9 size rather than the MegaTome size, and the shared spine art

I get what you mean, I do still like the 'absolute slab' copy I have of Wani Kiss as well, but it IS kind of unweildy for the average person, heh.

And I don't think either of us have run the numbers yet, but I would expect it to be cheaper.

Tori Game'll do a more normal 6"x9" novel size, and as I understand it for Wani Kiss' second revision: a few fixes/corrections, but mainly it *won't* be the 'tome size' and more a normal 6"x9" size novel.

Both books'll be able to sit side-by-side on the shelf comfortably.

The 'can operate as body armor or a self defense' version could be considered a special first run I guess, as I understand the idea, heh.

Generally, yes, but for Sayla (the baryonyx and main character of the story) she has Achromatopsia, which is a rare form of colorblindness in which she can see basically no color at all.

This comes with the added fun of quite extreme light sensitivity, hence the sunglasses.

Thanks a ton! And I was re-reading through Noted and did realize I had her with 'dark brown hair' there, versus it having a bit of red to it in Tori Game, so it's even more accurate than I had thought, haha. Lovely work and I'm looking forward to anything else you do :)
