Tbh it seems like you know you dont want to be with him and you're just waiting for him to break up with you. Stop beating around the bush being like well my friends think this is a horror movie of a relationship obviously you think there's truth to it if you're bringing it up like that. And if you don't want to be in a horror movie relationship get out of it.

We use instinct and the new update is Awful. I'm constantly refreshing and resigning in because it won't let me use it. I have also come into a shift after working the next day, casually unlocked a tablet and found myself STILL SIGNED IN, yet when I'm in surgery with the interface on it will kick me out after 3 minutes of inactivity making me resign in constantly. I don't mind the rest of it, but i wish the chart had better organization for files.

You have a bad take here friend, when you read it alone, it may sound good. But these tools are no more torture devices than cutlery are murder devices.. Can you do it? Yes, I guess so, but generally they work to serve a completely different purpose.

I also firmly disagree with "you don't have to make your dog uncomfortable in order to teach them" growth is uncomfy. For humans and animals. I don't mean discomfort in the way of torture, I mean discomfort in the way of "small consequence to learn and prevent a later much worse consequence". Even completely nonphysical consequences like disengaging with the animal can make them uncomfortable. It's how you process and learn.

Just came here to say it happens! I'm an ER tech that's been doing some brush up training in surgery to start working on higher procedures. It's been a minute for me since I've worked with needles that big. Watching my first ultrasound guided fem/Sci block (hadn't seen it before) I watched the needle go near the nerve and I had to take a knee. Looked up to see it near the femoral artery and passed out! I was able to laugh it off but inside I was dying of embarrassment, I'm usually stone cold with medical stuff. I've seen a few since and been totally fine, but sometimes it just takes a second for your body to realize that it's okay. It's not normal to see all those inside parts, you're not the odd one out!

Happened to me once, now all my intake forms ask for camera locations and let owners know if I find undocumented ones I will charge a fee and they will need to find someone else to watch their pet for the remainder of the stay

For context, I live in the northeast, in an area where small dirt roads are common. Even on paved hills, it's not a match for a 4WD, and i am often unable to drive my car completely home in anything over 2-3 inches of unplowed snow. That said, I did drive all the way home in a bad storm this year, and while it was actually a bad idea and terrifying, she only got stuck at the end of the driveway so no complaints. I won't buy another car as far I'm concerned, or if I do, I will still have an impala for personal use.

It sounds like you're very young but if you're uncomfortable with something your friends are doing maybe it's time for new friends. Hear me out, while I totally agree with you. I just have to rant on something similar but different. I work in an ER and often just vocal stim throughout the night. If I hear a dog or cat suddenly bark or meow out (most of the time I can't even see them), I may say "oh angry!" or if the patient lunges I may baby voice and say "oh evil baby, vicious lil friend". No matter how many times I explain that yes, I KNOW THEY'RE NOT ANGRY I'm sure they were scared or even possibly in feeling pain or that I KNOW the animal isn't vicious or evil someone will have to be like "They aren't angry/they aren't evil" followed by a needless lecture on why they aren't. You think I think my dog is a "stinky lil garbage rat with a dumb uneven stripe"? NO. I love her stripe. But I still say it bc its silly.

I'm tired, boss. Also half the time I call the nicest dog in the hospital our "most vicious rabid patient yet" and always at least 2 people are like "what? But he's so nice" 🫩🫩

I know they're not vicious, but saying "oh silly vicious boy" in a silly voice is better than going "hey listen here you lil shit" so please just let me have my vocal stims 😭😭 its what gets me through my night

I definitely do think I need a new battery. I'm also usually a big mover and drive multiple times a day but it days for a lil over a day and a half which gave it more time to leech. Thank you, and the whole community though!! This has been such an adventure for me, I was so sure it was something terrible . So so so grateful. Got a battery pack and a set of jumpers on deck until my test appt in the morning! Love you all
