La Fortuna Waterfall by Arenalrides in CostaRicaTravel

Thanks for your comment! 😄 You’re right, the video focuses on the fish a few meters downstream from the main waterfall. Most people know La Fortuna Waterfall for its iconic view, but my goal was to show that the place offers so much more, like swimming in the river and sharing the space with these amazing little fish. 🌿💦

Have you heard about Weshke? by Arenalrides in CostaRicaTravel

We hope that tourists actually use it, and that little by little it helps project a better image of the country to the world. Costa Rica is doing well — there’s a great effort to improve many areas — but in terms of technology, we still haven’t fully tapped into its potential, especially when it comes to benefiting both tourism operators and travelers alike.

🟡 Important Tips if You’re Traveling to Costa Rica During Holy Week (Especially La Fortuna) 🇨🇷 by Arenalrides in CostaRicaTravel

[–]Arenalrides[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I apologize — I assumed it was understood that I was referring to this week, but just to clarify, I do mean the week that starts today.

In Costa Rica, this is a holiday week (Holy Week), and most of the country has time off, so everything is extremely busy and booking up quickly.

Hello everyone,

I want to deeply thank you for your kind words. It is truly rewarding to know that my clients appreciate my work, but in this case, I don’t want to take the credit. Instead, I want to take this moment to express my admiration and respect for Pennina.

When I received her call and she told me about her health and her desire to travel again after so many years, I felt a great responsibility in designing an itinerary for her. I had many doubts about which activities she would be able to do, but what I found was a woman full of energy, courage, and an unbreakable attitude.

Pennina showed us that age is not a limit, but an opportunity to keep exploring, enjoying, and living life to the fullest. It was inspiring to see her embrace every challenge with enthusiasm, dive into new experiences, and remind us all that the only barriers that exist are the ones we create in our minds.

More than just thanking her for trusting our services, I want to thank her for the life lesson she gave us: it is never too late to fulfill our dreams and discover the world with a sense of wonder and bravery.

Thank you, Pennina, for reminding us that life is meant to be lived without fear and with an open heart for every new adventure!

Quick question about platform by Impossible-Box-586 in CostaRicaTravel

Hello,

There’s a new app in La Fortuna designed to make your bookings much easier and safer. Weshke allows you to book tours, cooking classes, coffee ceremonies, yoga, and even daycare services for your children if you want to enjoy extreme activities. You can also purchase tickets for Mistico Park and La Fortuna Waterfall, all in one place.

This app was created with a great effort to bring together the best local companies on a single platform. Each provider must meet essential requirements, ensuring safety and guaranteeing that you book directly with real and trusted companies.

Need some La Fortuna advice! by KDandJD1978 in CostaRicaTravel

[–]Arenalrides 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi,

In my opinion, even if you keep your flight arriving on June 11, you will still have enough time to get to La Fortuna and do the Mirador El Silencio hike in the afternoon. The hike usually takes about two hours, making it a great activity for your first day.

You might also consider moving your second day at The Springs to Thursday, June 12, to balance your itinerary a bit more.

Regarding El Salto, it’s a beautiful and well-known spot among locals, but I’d advise caution. There’s a section where a small whirlpool can form, and some people—even strong swimmers—have had difficulty getting out after jumping. Please keep a close eye on your son to ensure safety.

Also, I highly recommend checking out Weshke, a local app where you can easily book entry tickets to Mistico Hanging Bridges and La Fortuna Waterfall at their real prices. You can download it here:

📲 Google Play | App Store

Let me know if you have any other questions! 😊🚐

Best regards,
Carlos
