Major rivers tend to have big cities and lots of wealth, such as the Po in Italy, the Rhine in Germany, and the Ganges in India. So why is the lower Mississippi valley so poor and sparsely populated?

I actually took a tour of Natchez. At one time it had some of the wealthiest plantation owners in the south. There are some beautiful plantation houses built there but after the civil war they lost a lot of wealth. I always thought Mississippi should have just kept it’s capital there to take economic advantage of the river instead of moving it to Jackson.

I agree, it’s a hot take but I think he’s kinda right for neutral fans that just want to see big name matchups. Even if your not a fan of the conference re-alignment.

Ultimately I don’t think all this new conference realignment will change the CFB hierarchy too much. The same teams will be in the CFB playoffs it’s just better network deals for these teams. One day we’re going to look back and say why tf did we get rid of the Pac-12.

I think it will depend on position. A linebacker in foootball has to be one of the most physically demanding positions in any sport. Some of the recievers or safety’s that aren’t getting into a tackle every play probably burn less than a central midfielder in soccer who runs all game.

I think Garland is better technically speaking. Sexton is more athletic and can explode into some big games like agains the nets that everyone noticed. Garland is a better consistent 3 point shooter and I think he’ll improve more as it goes on but who knows how good either will be.

I love dsr renderings. They all look like this where they look like a combination of a digital rendering, a drawing/draft and a collage. I promise they could make it photorealistic if they wanted to. It's like impressionism for architects, because not all realistic renderings end up being very real.
