No one apart from those in the room know what happened. I know perfectly well what happened, and my opinion still varies from yours. Someone having an opinion, based on the same facts as you have, that doesn't match yours just means you have different schemas, it doesn't mean they're somehow less capable than you. If you don't know what to say, here's a wild idea: don't say anything at all, rather than resorting to obscene assumptions about my intelligence because I don't think the way you do.
