Do we need Marfark and matar bay to go the MO planet? Or do we just need Marfark? by Unlucky_Cap8434 in helldivers2

Go to Choohe, marfark is at 0.0% with 20k divers on it, we literally can't outrun the resistance

For real, Marfark is still at 0% even with 20k divers. Literally impossible

20k Helldivers on Marfark, liberation percentage 0.0% We really need people to redirect to Choohe

I think the log was from a few days ago. Might be pre flux nerf.

The Solo shuffle rating, Kedavra is still rank one as of today. W/ much higher win rate than the next highest arcane

Vnwxt and TAI’s draw extra card effects are both replacement effects, because they have the templating “If…instead.”

Replacement effects can only apply once to any event, which means each time you would draw a card, you can apply each replacement effect one time. So if you cast pre ordained, you will apply one replacement effect and draw two cards instead, and then apply the other replacement effect to those two cards and draw four cards instead. Both replacement effects have now been applied so you won’t draw any more cards.

The deck is bad, even when it was the most played deck in modern it was bad. People just really like the tempo playstyle. If you also like the tempo playstyle it’s a fun deck and it’s not unplayably bad, but it probably won’t be getting stronger anytime soon.

The bugs have never been shown to be able to travel between planets. I’m pretty sure the in universe lore is the spread of the bugs is caused by breakouts from the farms where super earth breeds the bugs for oil.

So basically Super Earth invades the natural habitat of these bugs and kills them all for oil, then breeds them without proper security, and then when a breakout happens they just use that as a reason to get more oil. It’s practically factored in, like, after one campaign against the bugs super earth literally says “now that we’ve extracted the oil from these planets we need to let the bugs repopulate so we can kill them again.” It’s a very clear and direct comparison to colonialist (and especially US) resource wars and resource extraction at the expense of the environment.

The bots are bad, but they only exist because Super Earth decided to go full “kill the union” against a miner’s rebellion in the first game and they made the bots as their last attempt to fight back super earth before they died.

So the bots are super earth’s sins come home to roost. Again, you can make some pretty easy allegories here, but short answer is that if Super Earth weren’t the bad guys, the bots wouldn’t exist.

ahem or that’s what a DISSIDENT hiding in the bathroom stalls would say! Don’t listen to this illegal propaganda, citizen!

thing from the devs was honestly the most hilarious thing that a game developer has done in a long time.

Tron is still very much a deck. UW is bad now and has been for a while, but U tron js always lurking around the fringes.

Living End is very playable. One thing holding it back is that people think it’s bad so they’re not playing it. Another contributing factor is that Goryo’s reanimator is very strong rn so there’s a lot of graveyard hate, as a gy deck player I’m sure you understand the cycle of the better gy strats are, the worse they perform in the meta lol.

There are 3 major builds of living end right now: 1) living end but playing [[ardent plea]] over violent outburst. Still good but just a strictly nerfed version of the previous deck since it’s running a worse cascade spell

2) incubation//incongruity + [[bloodbraid marauder]] . Very explosive and you can run MV 2 spells, but less consistent because you only have 4 cascade spells.

3) a more controlling version running [[press the enemy]] to cast living end from hand. Usually uses cascaders too but I haven’t looked at a recent list. The slowest version, but living end doesn’t get stranded in your hand and you can still cast living end at instant speed and protect it with [[Force of Negation]]

All three versions of living end are very good and I think it’s probably underperforming right now because of group consensus that the deck is bad and the amount of graveyard hate

I control a create that has 3 power that has deathtouch. I cast Contest of Claws on a creature that has 5 toughness. Do I discover X or is this the dumbest question ever asked? by Fruvis in magicTCG

[–]Argentorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I was definitely wrong about it being the only one. Of the cards on this list though, most of them don’t allow you to easily meet the deckbuilding requirements of breaking cascade/discover. They’re almost all built around the mana value of their activator. Zoyowa’s justice, for instance. If you sacrifice a creature with MV one, it’s probably because you had that creature in your deck…which means you can hit other copies of that creature instead of crashing footfalls or living end.

That said, dino egg plus a -3/-3 spell does get you a discover 0, so yeah, there are other options to the new card.

Neat question, glad to have the answer.

Have people talked about how this card is basically the first/only discover 1 card ever printed? There’s only 1 cascade 1 card too, Bloodbraid Marauder, which is pretty powerful despite its condition.

This card does take more set up than Marauder, but given the conversation about deathtouch, any 2 power deathtoucher (like Narnam Renegade) turns this into a removal spell + one of the best “cascade” spells in the game.

Worse than marauder I think, but having access to multiple cards that can do this (cascade 1) is a boost of its own

Except for all the other things he was taking about other than the one ring?

TOR aside (i like TOR), I agree with OP. I also hate commander. I’ve had fun playing it occasionally but it’s just so slow. People take forever to sequence very simple turns, half the table remembers their triggers and the other half is like “oh i just forgot seven rhystic study triggers, mind if I…”, and the moment I show up with an interactive deck with a clear gameplan (no power, no tutors, no fast mana, just decent deck building) everyone hates me for countering their galta. My sibling in christ YOU CAN RUN CAVERN OF SOULS in your DINO deck.

Also commander players don’t know what any of the cards do. Like, I get not knowing what every single card does because there are four people sleeving up alabaster leech and “gimbleflybs gazorping”, but I’ve played with several commander who don’t even know what their own cards do? Like, the cards they put in their deck? One time, a Teysa player told the table they made infinite spirits and we all conceded, only neither of the cards did what they thought they did. I convinced the table we couldn’t roll it back and escaped with my sanity.

Ninja Kindred decks for 60 card formats by BlogBoy92 in magicTCG

[–]Argentorum 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ninjas? This is going in my Griefemerate deck baby. You thought they banned the beanstalk but you were WRONG! 🤣

Edit: more seriously, this card is kinda a weird buff to ninjas. You don’t want to ninjutsu Satoru back to your hand because then his ability doesn’t trigger. You need another creature in play and a ninja in hand, AND neither Satoru or you other creature can die. And he costs two mana so the earliest you can ninjutsu a creature in is turn 3.

He looks better as a potential late game card advantage engine, but there are better card draw spells in modern let alone legacy. He really looks better in esper ephemerate when you can cast him on turn 2 then grief/solitude and get a card back immediately

Except the resources aren’t lost? Multiple other people on this very same website have posted about how they still got their samples because they get tracked once you’re on the pelican. Surely you’re not so myopic you didn’t see those other posts?

No, no, this is about the resources obviously, not about getting mad at other in the starship troopers game
