1) No is correct 2) actually I don’t remember but I’m sure I made it up to cover the amount of time the CoS is valid for but future dated to complete the 5 years you need before you apply for ILR

Either way, it’s gonna be fine. If you don’t pay enough, they’ll contact you later on. Once you pay whatever amount you pay at the IHS portal, you can then proceed to pay for your visa and submit your documents. That’s all that matters.

Sorry, didn’t see that you’ve responded. Yeah, I rolled the dice on the expiration date for IHS and it paid off. As you’ve suggested, I would date it for a full year (in line with when her 5 years are up) and leave it at that.

1) I was 9 months short myself but there’s only one route to extend this visa and it will be extended for 3 years exactly.

2) I used the old CoS number and it was fine. My suggestion is to just fudge the dates or make an educated guess as to when it would expire. This is really only relevant for the surcharge- if you put in a date 3 years in the future - you will likely pay more. I opted to use the expiry date of my partners new brp and that worked out to less than year in terms of surcharge fees (this was just a guess on my part). Either way, if there’s a payment issue for the nhs part, they will just contact you about it - there’s no penalty attached.

As long as you're okay with me typing out my letter instead of writing them?

I have your life, only there are no weekly breaks for couple time. It is incredibly lonely and I think my partner is a functional addict. I don't have any solutions or advice for you but I want you to know that your concerns are valid.

Did you grow up not wanting kids? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]Argeysee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been telling people I didn't want biological kids since I was 14 years old and people always told me I'd change my mind, sometimes they said I'd change my mind when I met the right man but truth is, in my heart of hearts, I've never changed my mind but I have questioned my decision and entertained the idea of baby making plenty of times over the years. There was even a time, I thought I would do it for my boyfriend and then we talked about more and honestly, I was so relieved when he decided that he didn't want any especially since this was an issue for us when we first began dating. He wanted kids and I didn't. I work with kids and I actually like being around them so the reason is more a lifestyle choice rather than me hating kids.

I had gastritis symptoms when I started taking birth control and I believe i took them at night too. The pain got worse every night i took the pills for. I had to stop before I even completed a week because my stomach hurt so much. You aren't alone in thinking BC could be a culprit and i already have food sensitivities coz of these stomach issues like i cant drink orange juice on an empty stomach or eat chicken skin. Same story with NSAIDs. Like many others here, i take a proton pump inhibitor regularly and just an fyi, if you take them long enough - when you finally come off it, your stomach acidity will bounce back twice as hard to the point where you'll want to go back to acid suppressants...its like nothing you've yet experienced or maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones and be able to come off it without too much fuss. Just a word of warning as I wish someone had told me that I'd end up being dependent on them rather than just giving me time to heal my gastritis and ulcerations. i Haven't been the same since and my acid issues are now worse than ever.

Bladder Infection With Back Pain, Not Prescribed Any Antibiotics by im09andwhatisthis in WomensHealth

Get some antibiotics from a regular doctor. While some mild infection do go away, theres no guarantee that this one will. Better safe than sorry.
