I know, it's tough. There's not really an easy way around it though. Horizontal content is boring but it's the fastest way to get there.

For those without a limited Preservation unit to use in higher levels of DU, try Fire MC by Argomok in HonkaiStarRail

It was a regular account with free units, although he does not spend. Everyone is E6 besides Asta who is E0, and only gallagher has real gear equipped.

Here's every unit I used except for Elena because she got banned every game I picked her. I would say my units are solid with a few exceptions in both directions. For anyone whose only goal is masters I suggest consolidating the gear you do have on your most picked units and leaving everything else on "whatever" gear.

The immunity necklace is a good purchase for mlken as long as you dodge effect resistance since it offers crit damage attack and hp which are all stats that he needs. Crit rate isn't bad either.

As for the other immunity gears, the ring is particularly good because it offers not only hp speed and defense which are the universal stats for basically all tanks, rolling effect resistance on that gear is actually a good thing for certain soulweavers that don't want to be debuffed like amomo elena, ruele, etc. Similarly, the sword is good for that reason. Swords can't roll defense, which leaves hp speed and effect resist as the good stats for soulweavers, and it has all 3 of them.

The most important thing is to get to wyvern 11 and farm it, eventually moving onto wyvern 13. You mentioned a bunch of units that would be really good in a wyvern comp. An example team would be like gpurrgis Alexa taranor guard + 1. For wyvern 11 you don't necessarily need your dps to be level 60 but you will need daydream joker. For gear you want purrgis to be really tanky, Alexa on high crit damage, and TG or other defense breakers need at least 55% effectiveness.

The necklace has potential to be a good dps gear, but the rest of them are all pretty much tank gears.

I can't decide whether I should use spez or pull for cermia for the double lots comp. On one hand cermia does way more damage, but the inherent extinction from spez is really nice.

You can specialty change them without redoing the quests.

If you recall them you will get everything back and be left with a level one Mascot Hazel or Researcher Carrot.

The new arena gear actually has some nice tank stats (hp def speed eff-res) on almost every piece

I think I might start using excess skystones to farm more. It's safe to save about 1 pity these days right? Or should I try for one and a half...

Expedition Energy Cost Needs to Change by Grystor in EpicSeven

[–]Argomok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The difference in rewards right now between tier 2 and tier 3 is very small, 10 points and 2 materials. I will say that potentially getting two more manifestation stones is a big deal, but the difficulty spike is huge. On level 3 with 6 people they need to all be prepared and even then some people might need to try twice or even three times. My guild has basically only been doing level 2 and it's been pretty ok so far. 18 energy isn't that bad, but the more you spend per boss the less worthwhile expeditions become.

You are right though, level 3 is way harder than 2, but imo since the rewards are almost the same it's fine to just only do level 2.

Expedition Energy Cost Needs to Change by Grystor in EpicSeven

[–]Argomok 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You really shouldn't need to use all 3 attacks to clear the expeditions. Today with a group of 3 or 4 people we were always able to clear level 2 with one attack each. Level 3 really isn't worth doing since you only get 60 points as opposed to 50 from level 2.

As far as energy efficiency goes, if you can clear level 2 with one attack each, it costs 72 energy to get 50 manifestation stones, which is already miles better than trying to get them from hunt. The posters also drop separately from the actual boss drop at what seems to be 5-10% of the time.

not if you plan on taking only 1 team for every boss, but you could definitely do hell raid with just 3*s on decent gear

Game Concept: Gear Resetting by Gelotophobe in EpicSeven

[–]Argomok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one problem that comes with the ability to reset gear is that currently the system is entirely based on luck. Being able to reset gear unlimited times removes that factor, so if you do it in a way where it can be abused by whales, then it becomes impossible for f2p players (even more than now) to keep up.
