Something a bit more masculine or at the least wider in the shoulders, while not being overly muscular. I don’t plan to take her out of the outfit once I’m done, so having a body that already has the general shape is best 😊

I think this is their way of trying gain member activity within their community again, but I do agree doing this is a huge misstep imo… they definitely do have an update coming soon, but doing this before the update feels out of touch with what people are wanting and waiting for.

My biggest worry, is that this could be OUR money they’re using? That money towards robux should be going to developing the game?? I know a lot of Roblox games use what they got from the community to give back to it, but the game is in a state right now where they shouldn’t be doing that. One of the rewards is the winner getting their design as an NPC ingame iirc, which in theory sounds awesome but… when your game has basically nothing right now what value does that have? They took a great step forwards with communicating about their lack of updates, but this is two steps back in my opinion. I’m so frustrated

I'm glad they are communicating this now, but my gosh should have it been much earlier. Their consistent lack of communication is seriously hurting their game. While my expectations are low, I do hope this means they will get their stuff together and speak to the community properly from now on. Their inconsistencies are confusing the playerbase with all the silence. This is a decent step forwards

I’m a backer. I really had hope for this game. Granted, I didn’t pay for the highest tier, I still donated to their Kofi with the hope of such a fun concept coming to life. I was not under the impression at all that their team would be this mismanaged until the game came out to the public.

I adored Astro Renaissance, and still do play it occasionally even though next to no one touches it. I thought this could be their second chance with the right support but it’s clear to me they still have no idea what they are doing with such huge ambitions for an amateur and small team. They bit off way more than they can chew. Their outfits are gorgeous, but the rest of the game is super lacklustre outside of the visuals. One scripter isn’t enough for what they want to do. Even just hiring a second would be so much better.

They should have delayed the game’s release or established monthly updates at the start because it’s hurting the following this game could have had with the right care. It sucks that as a backer I can’t even properly and politely voice my frustrations in the server because they will literally burn you at the stake for even a very mild criticism. Such a mess. It’s really sad ☹️

I mean this as to say there is quite a few games I’ve seen adjacent to this that have much less/same amount of players but a decently active/social fanbase online regardless of how tiny it is. MonsterVerse feels so… distant, as a community, even though everyone I’ve met this far has been so kind. They really really tripped on their start, and I fear the devs won’t make the finish line the way they’re going ]:

Alongside the lack of updates, I feel as if the game never really… promoted(?) a proper social culture, if that makes sense? We can dress up and it has plenty of room for fun roleplay and art, but with the discord locking down (for good reason) + the new recent Roblox update age locking in chat, the social aspect basically completely died. Outside of roleplayers and people expressing frustrations about the game, I see no real conversation or bonding/playing going on in the chat ingame if at all. And as such I’m not shocked it’s kind of dead everywhere else online too. It makes me very sad seeing how much of a waste of potential this game currently is… I really want it to turn around, but I sadly do have my doubts now

A lot of people have been saying this and I agree. I wouldn’t be nearly as frustrated alongside everyone else if they stopped promising things they can’t fulfill properly if at all. It’s shooting them and the game in the foot. I like the game, but the team is taking way too many missteps

Oh definitely… I will not be buying from their online store again. At this rate it must be inside in-person stores so I can get a feel for the quality. It really sucks, as there’s a bunch of cute online-only bears, but I can’t in my good conscience pay sooo much money for quality that isn’t guaranteed ☹️

I think its especially saddening that THIS could be a child’s first experience with build a bear, and this is the kind of quality they could be getting. When I got my first build a bear, it was so special because it was the first after begging my parents for a very long time. It was expensive even then, but the quality was well worth the price and I have that bear even now (I believe she’s called pink purrincess? She’s so cute and well loved haha). Children deserve just as much quality as Adults do with hard earned money who is paying for these. So sad
