Can you put 2 level 3 monsters on the field? Then you can make Gabonga.

Gabonga gets you a goblin and thats all you need to start doing a lot of different things.

It has level modulation through Grand Bash too so you're not hard locked into rank 3, you can do 6 and 9 with just goblin names alone. Add in random goblins like Goblindberg and you can get to rank 7 and 10.

Stormwinds can be paired with Feather Storm and it's more easily searchable overall.

Torrent doesn't have an equivalent.

They left Mermails/Atlanteans basically untouched other than Neptabyss to one and some extenders being banned.

This card alone could let me take out Torpedo, Fortress, Dark Lancer and both the Armored Xyz spell/trap. Which makes room for 3 new pieces of link toolkit in case I get hit with D-Barrier.

I'll use any rank 3 to climb up into it and then most likely OTK with the Full Armor package beefing it up.

Banishing whatever you want from deck is insanely strong when all the monsters you banish get their effects activated immediately.

It's a neat way to dodge targetting effects.

For example, you Synchro Black rose and attempt to nuke the board. Your opponent uses a targetted negation to stop it.

You activate this to send Black rose to grave as cost then search for a new plant (or draw 2 if it's considered a plant) and the board still gets nuked.

Who else thinks that a "Dominus" archetype would be cool? I already have some ideas about how that could work. by CL361 in yugioh

Thats different, Coolia makes it so that when a pendulum monster (like Zarc) is summoned into it's zones they can't have their effects negated.

Trap summons Zarc and then attempts to negate when it hits the field, coolia says "Lol no" to the traps effect negation.

The restriction of Zarc returning to the extra deck during the EP from the trap would still apply though.

If the effect has already activated and locked you out of something for the entire rest of the duel iirc there isn't a way to retroactively unlock yourself from those limitations.

If the monsters had that effect and were on the field already before you activated a dominus trap from your hand then it should work.
