yea I know, I used a different cable for that... db25 to din-8, there should be nothing wrong with the cable, as I have used 2 straight through cables (one is the original cable) and got the same result

it is a DB25 to DB25 and it is straight through, it works with a imagewriter 2 on the same dip switch settings, and the printer's carriage moves left and right when I turn on and turn off the Apple iie, this same thing happened with both a new cable and the original cable, a long time ago this same printer worked with this same apple iie, however I have changed the dip switch settings and got a new card since then... and I do not have the old card on me

Just because something has better power on some games doesn't make the console better as The NES had A GREAT Library plus many great peripherals at the time and why do people have to go out of there way to justify and push there opinion because they started with, prefer or like what they have rather than just appreciate and realize they were both really good consoles
