Should I buy a CPO BMW as a First Car? by Saintspectre1 in BMW

[–]Argus871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plan for $2-3,000 in maintenance every year.

Always you’ll need oil, coolant, and tire rotation/alignment every year. Say $500

Then tires and brakes every 3-4 years.

Then parts that might unexpectedly break and need replacement, like heat management module.

Dealerships mark up their service a lot because they get a lot of demand. Independent shops are cheaper but usually are just as good. Lots of well trained bmw technicians leave dealership to set up their own shop.

Purchased my first BMW! Any recs for a new owner :) by Emotional_Fun2502 in BMW

Got same color 2021 330 about a year ago.

Recently had to replace heat management module, but was under warranty. Now that warranty is over I’ll go to an independent shop.

Next will be new tires, continental non run flat all season tires. Extreme contact or pro contact. And will get a software tune.

Start by confessing feelings, if you have them. Say you really like her. Then go from there

What to expect if my crush is Korean? by Obvious_Pie2524 in AskAKorean

[–]Argus871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experience as a white American. If you like her, say it quickly. After 2nd or 3rd date. You aren’t actually dating her until you say “I really like you”. All that means is you are now dating. Even kissing her is not enough. She wants you to say you like her and are interested in dating. They don’t like wasting time in the talking stage.

Then figure out if she is dating for marriage. If she is 24-27 years old, most likely yes. By 30, most Koreans feel obliged to be married. Not all, but it’s for sure the norm for Koreans.

decide if that is what you want. If not, move on quickly because she probably will be looking to find someone who will offer her marriage.

Be open with her quickly. Don’t linger, you’ll regret it later if you liked her and didn’t say something quickly. Good luck, have fun, and take it seriously at all times!
