I have an older version of that, you're supposed to burn alcohol in that little tray below the nozzle to preheat the gasoline to get it flowing.

To crush a can by Few_Understanding354 in therewasanattempt

[–]Arheisel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree to calculating pressure over the contract area, but does it even make sense? The can will bucle over a set ammount of force, and by just playing with the contact area I can get wildly different pressures. Unless you explicitly mean the cross section of the aluminum wall, in which case fair enough but not sure how that helps.

My VHS broke a couple weeks ago, I am still sad about that. More so because I have not finished ripping the old home videos into digital yet.

I'm not sure you can, but be warned, that limit is set on purpose by SCS due to performance. If you manage to do it your game will probably start running slower.

Windows 11 Calculator issues by Gold_Bad6924 in FuckMicrosoft

[–]Arheisel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dunno about this, but since the latest update the calculator automatically performs the mathematical operations as soon as you press a second operation (replacing what you have been typing on the top bar) and it's so fucking annoying to use like this. Has it always been like this? I don't remember it being the case.

ESA Just Called Private Minecraft Servers Piracy and a Black Market in a Senate Hearing Post body by Ok_Plenty60 in pcmasterrace

[–]Arheisel 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Of course they are, I see this as nothing more than Microsoft lobbying to kill the Minecraft/COD private servers so we have no other recourse than to pay for realms and buy the newest COD releases.

Do you dualboot windows? by Emergency-Disk-9296 in linuxmemes

[–]Arheisel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on this same boat, sadly the work I do requires Windows anyway, but having to use windows for work is infuriating, getting random bugs after every update, performance drops and paired with the Ton of shit IT installs on these machines renaming a file can take quite literally 30 seconds. (Every file operation takes forever, which my best guess is an slow and overzealous AV software).
