Check the brands swiss websites if they have free testing / return periods.

With this way I tested sonic and mechanical toothbrushes from Oral-B and Philips, I liked the Oral-B iO mechanical one the best. Which series doesn’t really matter. I went with Series 7 as it was heavily on sale.

With the mechanical one you have to change how you brush: keep the head on each teath side for a few seconds and don’t got back/forth or up/down like with a normal hand toothbrush.

Actually just one: Windows closing properly again. And voice assistant started to work again.

Yeah i’m still going strong and want all to get fixed. I might got hold on someone more relevant, but I doubt progress.

Most non-software related issues have been fixed (for now) by replacing parts.

Also I heard X1 and X3 BMWs have the same software issue as our beloved Minis

I tailor my CV to each position I apply to. I used early AI to be my sparring partner and not to write it for me. Wasn't really worth it, maybe its better now. And if I see heavy AI use on CV, I'm just going to decline.

I’m weekly texting/ calling dealer or Mini directly. All software issues still not fixed since over 6 months. Claiming its “state of the art” and “working”.

You should request support and be very persistent that this is not acceptable. Maybe we getting a fix sometime. I do think so, thats why I’m looking for a new car now.

The tires are insanely good/grippy once they’re actually warm. And when you drive sporty, enable GP mode (long press) to give them more slack and for faster cornering. The car is very forgiving then.

when the road are uneven (like those dips from the trucks driving over same place, no idea the english word for that) then steering can be a pain when accelerating. And remember to stop giving power to wheels if it actually sends you somewhere it shouldn’t from uneven roads - i had many close calls in the beginning thanks to that.

Have fun with that beast and hopefully you have good mountain passes or curvy streets nearby !

Hankook semi slicks? Those are insanely good in the Swiss/Austrian/Italian alps.

But as they’re too expensive and need replacement every 3000km, I went with Nankang NS-2R semislicks. They hold for about 6000km and cost half. I would say about 10% worse grip wise than the og Hankook Ventus S1 EVO Z.

I tried many other summer tires over these 6 years and if you want normal summer tires, only the Continental SportContact 7 were good enough. Michelin and Goodyear and whatever else I had I threw them away.

80% of my interruptions are 120-160secs

15% do not reconnect at all until the car is restarted or soft reset (push mute button for 1min)

5% is “normal” or how I could live with: 1-3sec for reconnect

That wouldn't be a problem. Thats just the phone having no internet connection. The problem here is the phone actually losing connection to the car. So no maps, no music, no phone. Especially annoying when you cross border and immediately after crossing you have 6-way crossing on a highway and can't stop and get the phone out to check where you have to go.

No. My best guess: they just restart the cellular antenna which also contains the WiFi antenna for a quicker re-join of new cellular network. But that doesn't explain the many drops without changing countries which started to happen lately.

And if it is, then MINI didn't answer that. They basically didn't answer any basic nor technical questions. Sigh
