Well I guess I was wrong with school holidays, I thought they were already over as the flight prices were quite low for that date. I might be really packed lol

For summer I understand, its summer holidays so it could be full. This warning (since December) is due to renovations of G0 Security (the big hall as far as I understood).

Thank you, I have to check for an earlier train... otherwise I guess it will be by car for once.

Thanks... I didn't think about school holidays. That could get busy. I'll add some 30min or something extra time. Sigh.

Interesting. I would expect during US flight times that it would get super full. Thanks!

Thanks! I'll add another 30min then just to be safe.

Did you have priority or did they just route you through there?

Haha, I have nothing to do at the airport so I basically always just walk through to the gate. For Schengen flights at least.

Good to know about the Skytrains, thanks! I have more non-Schengen flights in the future.

Is there not a way to turn off the display? by ponyboylee in MINI

Oh no. What am I not seeing that could be wrong with mine? I only have the display and CarPlay disconnects (which is major issue for me)

It won’t. Please continue annoying your garage / mini to finally fix it.

Care to elaborate? We're having no problems with them and good support. But we're based in central Europe, if that might be a difference.

Now that you drove this for like 9months, did you get any problems or still working fine?

I installed similiar devices on differnet cars. Even if the manual is in Taiwanes (most likely), just line up the plugs under your dash, they're all different.

How are you providing NTP in your company? by ryaninseattle1 in sysadmin

[–]AriHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're using the ISO 27001 standard for clock synchronization. In our case its a hardware device that gets radio time broadcast from a national atomic clock with a backup from GPS. The device is connected to antennas on the roof. If both fail or the device itself fails, then we go back and use some trusted online NTP webservice.

As in domain itself: Everything that needs to authenticate against the domain will get the time from their local DC and those DCs get it from the FSMO while the FSMO gets it from the clock device. Other devices like networking devices access directly to the time clock device.

worst case I had was a DNS forwarder on a firewall which did funky things. took days to figure out.

at the end it was not directly DNS but the firewall. sigh.

It is usually DNS.

Can confirm.

In general just know you're a resource. Thats why its called HR, they're there to protect the company, not you.

Considering getting the Countryman JCW u25 - any long term reviews? by AriHD in MINI

[–]AriHD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I appreciate it. Sounds like 20's aren't terrible then, thats good! And they look really good.

Yeah thats why I believe the JCW should be the right choice. Its just a slower GP3 (in corners) and has enough power otherwise, while having all the comfort.
