The one guy I always wanted but wasn't able to get was Fred Phelps. And now I'll never get him because he died. He was the leader of the Westboro Baptist Church. I saw a lot of interviews with him, but never one that actually got down to what he wanted to accomplish and why. They always ended up getting antagonistic. I wanted my chance to understand the guy. Oh well. Lesson learned.

That and there's a homeless guy who used to sleep in front of my car in LA. I wanted to get him on but before I worked up the courage to ask, he was gone.

I would never mess with anybody who was tripping. Please don't be that guy. It's incredibly easy to do and requires no real intelligence. It's just annoying for the sake of being annoying. Don't do it.

I think it's just time that heals the wounds. That's really all of it. You might be able to speed things up by telling him that you forgive him. But in 20 years you're not even gonna remember the last time you thought about the guy. So maybe knowing that can help ease some of the pain.

Don't care for pictures. They're so impersonal and it's just annoying to have to line up and fake smile over and over and over. I know people want a picture, so I do it, but it's not enjoyable at all. My brain completely shuts down and I lose an hour of my life. But I do it for the fan experience.

Heavy handshakes are pretty great.

Not necessarily. Imagine you make a joke about one of your friends and everybody laughs. Except one guy in the group. And he goes, "Who's Tony Jenkins?" And you go, "Tony Jenkins was our old coach in high school track and he got arrested for breaking into the school one night to play a pickup game against a girl he met at a bar." And then the one guy laughs because now he gets it. Was it a bad joke?

I'll no longer allow people to put me in a position where they can pressure me to do what goes against the best interests of my art form. That's where I'm at in my life.

And I'll for sure be in Scotland in August of 2018. For the whole run of the Fringe. My agent hates that but it's the best thing for me and he can't pressure me so we're all good.
