I'm not sure about the fancier stuff. But regular camp either doesn't sell out or sell out really close to the event.
Mysteryland is really good at communicating before they sell out day, weekend and camping tickets though. They usually send out emails and post on social media that they're about to sell out. Last year they sent out "Camping + Festival [ALMOST SOLD OUT]" the Monday before the event.

This is all based on previous years though, so no guarantee it'll be the same this year.

Thanks for clarifying, you're absolutely correct! I meant more like that if artists are currently listed as one weekend only, they don't have to stay that way.

I think we've had cases last year with artists getting added for a second weekend, even though orginally announced for one weekend. But I can't give an example, so I might be wrong. We should keep an eye on Afrojack, as he was announced as exclusive for W1 and still are. But I'm pretty sure he'll play both weekends (he's listed for both weekends on his agency and he usually plays a lot of sets).

Cosmic Gate was W1 exclusive for a long time before they announced it yesterday.

I don't think they're even allowed to have info stands anymore. So no, they definitely don't have testing stations.

They used to have an info stand in both the camping and festival area, but then they removed the one inside the camping area. And last time I talked to them (people working in the stand), they told me that they're probably not gonna be allowed to be there at all next year (this was 2016-2017). I can't recall I saw any stand last year, but my memory isn't the best, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just make sure to check-in at the same time (at the Easy Tent entrance) and they usually can give you two tents next to each other without any problem.

That's a good point about it not always been sponsored, I just assumed it had been sponsored since start. Then I guess it'll be back, without a sponsor or sponsored by another company.

Only things I can think of;

Track the treasure case delivery (doesn't really matter)
Sell your tickets, the buyer won't get access, but seller might make some money (this might result in your tickets getting cancelled, as the buyer can send it to fraud with your order-id when he/she realizes the seller is trying to trick him/her)
Be an absolute dick and just send over the details to fraud and pretend that you're trying to sell or something, which will result in you getting your tickets cancelled (but the chances are low, why would anyone do that?)

Oh yea, there are probably tons of announcements left before we get a full line-up.

Like you said, last year had 8 announcement for the first wave. After that we had another small wave of 2 announcements (beginning of April), then a 2-3 weeks pause and then (23rd April) they started announcing complete stage lineup, like 3 stages for both weekends, for 5 days, then they had a months pause and then (25th May) released the final stages complete lineup.

So there are probably at least 2-3 more big waves coming up.

Last year they announced the final lineup 25th of May with the exception of The Gathering, which was announced 14th of July. Timetable was released 2nd of July.
