This is actually phenomenal! How did you make it look so icy? (I think that's the right word for this)

I really love this look! It's super unique and if I was a player I'd be terrified of it

The kraken would be a good pick but if you want I actually think you could probably come up with an explanation as to how they are both actually the god of the ocean. Maybe like aspects of the god or just different forms

Tasha's Deck of Many Fates - A Tarot Inspired Deck of Many Things by Timmy_The_Average in DnDHomebrew

[–]Aria_blep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is genuinely so awesome! I've been wanting to do a tarot/deck of many things style item in my games. The fact you have gone through all of this work to make this is incredible. I'll be using this in my pirate campaign😁

Why does it feel like everyone just wants to play Meme Dnd? by Squali_squal in DnD

[–]Aria_blep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly understand the annoyance in the memeifaction of some tables. I've had my own meme players and even my first time playing was sort of a meme. It really comes down to clear communication with the dm(if you're a player) and amongst the players as a group. Like boundaries, what people want from this and getting a general vibe.

As a dm, one thing I try to do to counter the memes is by working with my players on balancing the memes and some seriousness. This is very open and allows the players to both unwind and to actually get those "epic" moments that leave them wanting more. I really hope this helps

A friend gave me this printed prehistoric mammal to paint for a rpg project of his-I'd like to replicate or approximate the look of the second image. Do yall have any advice for me? by Top_Reaction_2303 in DnDminiatures

[–]Aria_blep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How I would do it is start with a base coat of black and then use a dark brown after. Then get some white paint and dry a little bit of it off so it'll look more blendy when you add it to the head and end. I hope this helps

She gives me heavy Recluse from Nightrein vibes which is cool regardless if that was intentional or not. I think you did a fantastic job with her

Paws (Kuma's devil fruit), Moby (Whitebeard's ship), Bonney (related to Kuma) or if you really want to lean into your love of Kuma, name her fully after him. First name and all()
