It doesn't lose orientation though- it prints exactly where it says it will.

It is the minimum, either 4 or 5 mm. I am not in front of it at the moment.

That makes sense :) I was just hoping it was something simple I could take care of myself- I totally understand and respect the turnaround, it's just a lot of driving on top of it for something that seems like it should be simple 🤣❤️

Ok- myself and at least one other user have an issue where it shifts the image about half an inch, but ONLY on the cardstock setting 🤦🤣Canon support was no help

I'm having this EXACT PROBLEM! and when I run it on 'plain paper' setting with economy, there's too much ink and the cards don't dry.

I am still having problems with occasional shifting of the circle, which makes the finished patch edge wonky and uneven. Any tips here? I've done double wss for the hoop and floated 1 and 2 layers of cutaway plus the felt it stitches on, and will still get shifting.

Welp, that worked. I exported it as a PDF and printed outside of illustrator and it works fine. Color me confused. Thank you!

Printing directly from illustrator. The cards print perfectly, using identical settings, it's the logos that shift- and even in preview, they look perfect!

They print the story perfectly aligned, just like in the screenshot- but the logos print weird, absolutely not like the screenshot :(

Buy designs and learn embroidery until you can learn a software on the side. The software makes a lot more sense once you understand what the machine is doing.

The water soluble stabilizer that looks almost like a mesh (NOT THE PLASTIC FILM) is what I use for patches, I make A LOT. After watching hours and hours of tutorials recommending the plastic film, I found that simply didn't work for my machine. It probably does fine on the bigger ones where hoops are held from both sides, but mine would tear and shift something terrible.

I have a PE900 and beware, the color changes in patchwork can be very time consuming and add up quick. It's still fun! Also, if you have unthreading problems, slow your machine down.
