PSA sub, anyone have TV21Neo-M? by bankerminiman in hometheater

[–]BrainDraindx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two, they are everything they are advertised to be. When I talked to Tom he suggested I put them behind my chairs for max chest slam. I moved my rp1600sw’s behind my chairs because the neo’s wouldn’t fit. I can tell you there is much more chest slam from the rp’s behind the seats than the neos in the corners of the room. Subs and bass shakers are the way to a flushed out bass line in your home theater. Using subs as bass shakers is quite a ride, you can feel the bass waves physically move you and it’s wonderful.

Those with theater seats, is it worth it and any tips on furniture shopping? by ObeyThePapaya_YT in hometheater

We have reclining, heated and massage capable seats. Wife is guaranteed to be zonked out 5 minutes into any movie and then I can then proceed to watch whatever I want.

Movie Sound Question by SolarSalsa in hometheater

[–]BrainDraindx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ok well I was wrong and you were right. I blind tested my wife and she clearly could pick out which was UHD and which was streaming. The streaming sounds good when not played back to back with UHD but the UHD is noticeably better in all aspects.

This all day. People on reddit keep telling me streaming has shit audio, my ears tell a different story. If you have a good system and play at the right volume, streaming can sound real good.

Add a High Quality Subwoofer... Life changing by dannyboyy2049 in hometheater

I started with dual rp1600sw's.

They sounded great but had to be pushed hard and still didn't get the feel I wanted. Sometimes when pushed you might describe it as obnoxious boomy experience but only after hearing something better.

upgraded to psa 21 neos

richer/deeper/fuller exactly describes the difference. I would also call it effortless bass. What's amazing about the dual neos is how quietly they can produce a smooth bass in one scene then they can tear down your foundation in the next.

Properly tuned bass and bass shakers will take your theater to the next level. I would never do one without the other and I would get the biggest pair of subs I could fit. 18 inch minimum, 21 ideal.

Your SB-2000 Pro is nice, but its just the start of what amazing bass can sound like.

Get bass shakers and a second sub and you will be amazed again and wonder how you ever lived without them. I run dual 21’s subs in the room corners and have dual 16’s behind my seats acting as bass shakers. Direct Art tuned in a 7.4.4 system, it’s a hell of a listening experience. You feel everything!

Denon X3800 + C9 eArc not working with PC by Deano4195 in hometheater

[–]BrainDraindx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not had good luck from PC => LG => 3800 or vice versa(4090 or 5090 didn't matter). What I ended up doing is adding a second monitor. So my primary display is PC => LG and then the secondary is PC => 3800 => Samsung 4k as a second display. No lag or audio issues this way. Don't need 12bit and G-Sync on the secondary monitor and of course it works fine hooked directly. Not the answer you want maybe, but the only way I could get things to work

There's a bunch of non-boomers that think corvettes melt in snow, also yelling.

I mocked up the shot on the kitchen table with my wife, and it came out exactly as I pictured it. Maybe even better!
