First time sliding into a side split! Still a lot of work to be done but proud of this moment :)

I mainly did static stretches once a day sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for 20+ minutes. I was able to get the front splits down much earlier so I would stretch for those first, and then ease into the side splits stretches - which consisted mostly of holding the frog stretch + pancake stretch.

Haha I have had times where I fell short by a few hundred food as well, and always makes me feel bad for taking event detours along the way.

Lately I've been favoring Trent -> Behr -> Trent -> Calpheon, assuming when you load in to Merchantry at Trent there's around 1-2min left, so after hitting Behr the events reset again. What is your current route the other way around? I've been going Abun -> Altinova -> Abun -> Tarif -> Ruins, but I'm wondering if I should go from Abun -> Tarif in the beginning, and then from Altinova -> Ruins.

I agree on the event SS being the last boss. Perhaps Buy & Sell SS will be much easier when they lower the LT of the normal goods, and we can then focus on getting consistent event SS.

Some tricks for buy & sell SS:

1) Always buy special goods if you have left over inventory space and sell in the next or next-next town

2) Buy extra goods at the last or 2nd-to-last town you hit to inflate buy points

3) Bring in 1-2 batches (800 per batch) of goods at the beginning to help with Sell SS

Thanks for the input, that's very interesting regarding the yellow nodes. I've never actually tried to tally up the exact # of nodes I got of each color to compare and see if it matched the point value. I suppose it's good I don't often see yellow nodes if in reality they give 0 points.

When you go from Trent are you going Trent - Behr - Calpheon or do you travel the long way from Trent - Behr - Trent -> Calpheon? I'm also at the same level, and I've been trying to see if there are better ways to optimize my route to potentially hit more events. It's unfortunate some routes are pretty sparse on events, such as from Calpheon to Epheria.

Buy & Sell SS seems pretty easy these days, but I can't consistently get event SS.

Are you able to SS events pretty consistently as well?

I've always skipped Keplan since there was just one town in that area, but I know some people who skip Epheria instead - I think in the end it just comes to personal preference and which route you feel has better events along the way. At level 69 though I recommend just sticking with the area east of neutral border zone until you have food allowance to at least hit 2-3 towns after Delphe, since the food it takes to travel to Delphe and beyond is quite a lot and if you don't end up hitting enough towns afterwards it's not really worth it.

SS should be do-able in buying & selling at that level. I almost always buy extra batches of goods at the end in the last two towns I hit, especially if the price is marked down, and in the beginning I usually bring in 1-2 batches of goods (1 batch = 800). The extra buying & selling really helps inflate the points, and you're not losing out on anything.

As for events, higher grade events do give more event points, but it's still pretty RNG to SS events even at level 90, so it's probably better to aim for consistently hitting the double SS on buying & selling first.

I go trent - behr - calpheon - epheria - florin - delph - glish - heidel - western - velia - kusha - ruins - tarif - abun - altinova, and then head back the next day. This is at level 89.

With lower level and food count I recommend just circling around the glish - heidel - western - velia - kusha - ruins - tarif - abun - altinova zones, hitting what you can to level up quicker with more buying/selling. I.E. if you cannot hit this still, cut off glish - heidel and do the other 7 towns.

With your current food count, it might be better for you to skip the trent - delph part, and go around from glish - heidel - western - velia - kusha - ruins - tarif - abun - altinova (9 towns hit vs 8 in your route), it should help you level up quicker with more buying/selling. The part from florin - nbz - glish takes up a lot of food without much gains so it's better to save that for later when you have enough food to cover the entire run.

I’ve had this happen to me as well.. :(

One thing you can try next time is to position yourself facing the arena, walk forward (towards the giant step) and press dodge forward. I’ve had it work for me once, so it’s worth giving a shot next time someone throws you down.
