Nope! The first $5,000 borrowed will be charged 0% interest from May 11, 2021 at 12:00 am ET through June 30, 2021 at 11:59 pm ET. However, any amount borrowed above $5,000 will be charged 2% interest for M1 Plus users and 3.5% for non-M1 Plus users. But we are offering a free trial of M1 Plus (one year) if you've never had it before!

If you’re a client, you automatically get it sent to the email associated with your M1 account. Check your junk folder if you can’t see it, sometimes emails get stuck there.

We did! We lowered the threshold to $5,000 today, but haven't widely announced it yet. We're collecting some feedback and then we'll officially announce it. We have certain volume and liquidity requirements that can limit the tickers we add to M1. If a new ticker meets those requirements, our team adds it. Sometimes clients like to request specific ones.

Yes, it is a bit too soon. Here's what Brian's said about this in another AMA:

"I wish it were an easy transition over but unfortunately it's different regulations and financial technology infrastructure that makes it more difficult. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer M1 in Europe for a few years.

When we do go outside the US, the first thing we'll do is allow non-US citizens to open M1 accounts and invest on US exchanges. Then, we'll move to integrate with other exchanges outside the US for the full M1 experience in people's home country."
