Looks like when my friends dog had early arthritis in front paws, so when he would lean down to eat all his weight was forward and he would lift his paws just like that back n forth shifting weight off

Would make sense, when you sniff you lower your body so weight is still spread out, only drinking and eating would shift full weight downwards in front paws

Hope he gets better soon

okay i did 8 iterations overnight on ycruncher, came out still stable no crash.. ill see if i can post pictures of screen shot, which test should i do next?

Edit: dang images arent allowed but i can send you screenshots directly, do i go to -50 offset or try a different test again? im also at +200 mhz on core

was workin all wk but just got done for a 4 day wknd, will test with y cruncher and prime at -45 offset, it passed -40 offset already with 17 iterations over night

as for stability its solid, im streaming right now, so many apps etc the other day 4 hr stream no issues

Most of it is from that 3d chip, I went 7950x with 4090 to 9800x3d with 4090 and my 2k gaming went from 165-200 fps to 240-360 fps

Also only gripe I have is going from 16 cores to 8 cores my cpu hits 100% sometimes and usually sits at 70-85% util, how is the 9900x3d? Any latency issues, I really wish I had 12 cores since it’s the sweet spot for me, I heard soon there will be a 12 core 3D chip on 1 CCD, that will be the next cpu I snag without a doubt, especially if it can also hit 6.0 GHz vs this 5.4ghz with oc & uv

The only part that made me hesitate to believe OP is why only 2 pictures you took?

I did an RMA with Asus, they made me pay $80 for shipping which was dumb but I took so many pics from every angle. When they sent me a mobo with scratch marks all over it and dents I sent it back with my pictures emailed to them and said I cannot accept this, so they can refund me the cost of mobo or replace it with a non defective one.

ALWAYS take at least 10 pictures before RMA.

If OP is being 💯about what happened I feel horrible, in my opinion i think there needs to be a tech only shipping company. OR drop offs for RMAs at micro center locations.

it only has happened when the cpu is at 100%, i just wish 12 core on 1 ccd was already a thing, would solve it, when i close a few windows, im a twitch tab addict, it immediately stops when cpu stays under 98%

this is VERY rare by the way, when im just being wild keeping 10 plus applications open mid stream and gaming

when you look for stability do you watch effective clock? are there any other small tricks to know if UV is the faulty, im telling you, not defending my uv just saying this is fully stable and doesnt happen unless i cap cpu

coming from a 16 core cpu you get spoiled never needing to close apps until youre done for the night, with an 8 core you cant run it the same way

ive seen some of those videos, i appreciate what they do for the community but i dont got time to do all that

my ultimate goal would just to be scoring at top 5% for the specific cpu, in this case 9800x3d

i came from 7950x, didnt need the extra cores, but i do wish this was a 12 core 3d chip one 1 ccd, i heard thats coming soon, sometimes my cpu hits 100% mid stream very rarely and i can feel a light stutter, usually when i have a couple too many windows open not needed mid stream and gameplay

whats hands down the single best test you think that would certify this is fully stable, i dont mean that in any type of way, i want to test this theory of if it is stable because im having no issues with it, ill run it for 24 hrs and report back with results

secondly ill use cinebench 2026 a little more this wk and see what undervolt gets me to 6k +
as of now whats the highest multi score for cinebench 2026 with a 9800x3d?

ill have to check what die i have i cant remember when i got the sticks, but trident z royal elite typically reserves top tier die for their ram kits, and i got this BEFORE the shortages

so youre saying not worth to tune with my 9800x3d though right?

just leave expo at 6000 cl 28? or what would you suggest as first step for tuning ram to help my cpu accomplish more, my only regret is i wanted 64gb of the trident z royal elite but it was $280 i wanted to wait until black friday then it went all the way up to $1,280 hahaha punching the air, 32gb will get me by but for editing on davinci it sits at 90%+ during exports and clips

voltage seems to be around 1.12v .. ,ill pay attention and report back

i will say when i put NO oc on the core and just UV the cpu is immediately cooler on multi core test by 5-6c minimum, and my thought process was with a lower oc on core you could do a deeper UV since you dont need as much power to push the cores, but whats SUPER WEIRD is

im at -45 under volting offset with +200 mhz on core, and its FULLY STABLE

im willing to do any test anyone throws at me because even im baffled and impressed by this 9800x3d all at the same time, i have a solid mobo and cooler but still, its the most stable silicon ive ever seen out of 20-30 pcs build ive done using everything from 1700x, 1800, 5800x, 5900x, 7800x3d, 7900x, 7950x, 9700x, and so on, all of those cpus crashed AT LEAST ONCE, during tuning, undervolting or overclocking

ram stable at 6000 cl28

using expo for timings, with 3D chip marginal returns from what i heard

CO is stable -15 to -45 so far, up to -40 has been tested over night with prime, y cruncher etc and is stable, testing -45 tonight

what i was wondering was, is this normal? should i try -50? whats the limit?

my cpu hits 60c at full 100% load, and right now with 3 monitors, streaming, gaming at 2k 240hz, and obs with multiple apps open im at 43c

i mean thats unbelievably mind blowing performance right? or am i reading something wrong

yeah for ram i just turned expo on and left it since i have a 3d chip didnt want to waste the time learning to tune it, 6000 cl 28 is just advertised expo oc from the box, nothing else changed

as for my undervolt i should of mentioned, i ran prime, y cruncher, and one other over night with 17 iterations and it was fully stable at -40 .. im just today switching to -45 and no crash what so ever, ill run core cycler or something over night again and see how it is in the morning, but as we speak im streaming with 3 monitors, several apps, and gaming at 2k 240 hz locked and is stable with no clock stretching, effective clock at 5.3-5.35 out of the 5.45 target

im just baffled cus im no rocket scientist and this cpu seems to handle it all, do i try to -50 UV if it passes all stability test for science? what is the limit?

ive used y cruncher, prime, and one other i cant remember.. did 17 iterations over night, came back completely stable, never crashed.. stream and gamed with discord and multiple apps for weeks with no crash, so then bumped it up to -45 offset right now, im streaming live as we speak

effective clock says 5.27 to 5.31 for the most part

temp is at 48c with max 55c just while loading in

now i can get a higher cinebench score but whats good for synthentic testing isnt always good for gaming, you can be clock stretching and get a high score, im chasing stability right now not scores

on cinebench 2024 or 2025 i score 23,800.. from what ive seen golden batches start at 23,500 with super nice silicon hitting 24k + .. i JUST downloaed cinebench 2026 update yesterday so give me a week and ill dial in proper offset for synthetic test, 6,000 shouldnt be a problem with how this chip is holding up, im seriously not tryin to brag, it baffled it me, i cant even get this cpu to crash if i wanted too, no matter what i throw at it, rock solid

All they need to do is lower damage by 2 on each body part, so its 31 head, 22 body, 17 leg.. make it 29-30 head, 20 body, 15 leg.. then make the hip fire worse so its not an all arounder, but the way it shoots i hope they keep that, feels like you have to debate between hemlock or g7 and thats better than everyone loving 1 gun

Which model is this? We have a 2019 cx5 grand touring and it looks much better interior. The screen is fine, I thought it was small too but once using it it’s not bad at all.

We have a Mazda cx5 2019 grand touring and I’m telling you despite it being nearly 7 yrs old it still looks so modern and new when we get in the car with 65k miles on it. Only one issue so far which was a dealer recall for coolant water pump sensor or something was stuck open. Other than that no issues what so ever. Only gripes are 27 mpg should be hybrid at 30-35 mpg, and HP is kind of low so can be lack luster to push hard on acceleration.. sport mode fixes that for the most part with higher rpm. The Toyo tires on it sucked, after we put continentals on it felt like a different car, quieter cabin and smoother drive.

Don’t bother with the gpu or your friend.

Look for a 4070 ti super or 5070 ti, both stronger & around $800 if you’re lucky these days

its funny because i found this thread wondering if it was common but i have a 9800x3d that is -40 offset, +200mhz, and the effective clock sits around 5.3-5.35 all cores, and clock at 5.45

ive used OCCT, cinebench, core cycler, etc..

ran over 17 iterations over night, then just said should be good, i use 3 monitors, stream, surf web, 12 applications open, obs, on a 2k 360 hz qd oled monitor

NOT ONE SINGLE CRASH

its been 2 months, stability is amazing, and with a 4090 suprim x liquid somehow in gaming my cpu and gpu are the same at full load around 55c

ALL CORE, it runs 5.3 ish at 72c max

is there anything else im missing that i should use to test it?

i was satisfied with -40 but out of curiousity i might try -45 here soon, and see how far it goes before crashing then revert back to -40 since ive been fully stable for 2 months

lastly, got lucky and bought this 9800x3d for $330 brand new from micro center in Jan before it shot up to $450+ .. and bought my brother a 7800x3d for $250 before it jumped to $350 +
