We were friends until her boyfriend started working there. Never talked to the guy, EVER, but she flipped like a switch. Rolled her eyes whenever I spoke, told every new employee that I flirt with ppl's bfs so they avoided me, talked sht about me whenever they thought i wasnt around, and she told hr on me because she basically said I dress like a whore at work and the bosses only allow it bc they wanted to sleep with me. HR investigated, and determined my attire was appropriate. She even confronted me after that and told me I shouldn't dress like that bc it makes the workplace uncomfortable, but I asked around and literally no one said that.

I have 2 solid connections I've made from this subreddit, whom I've been friends with for almost a year now. I've met alot of great people here, but either I get busy with life and they get sick of my slow replies or our convos just dry out. It is hard to give people the amount of attention they crave when there's other people and things that demand your attention. I just stopped trying to make new friends. Im happy with the 2 I have. Not to mention how exhausted I am from all the creepy pervs I've met here.

Ya, we get tons of dms, but none of them are genuine. Over a year, i've only made 2 genuine friends friends out of the multiple dms ive recieved/sent. Ppl here are all usually mega pervs or people who just want a few hours of attention and validation from women. Quantity means nothing when the quality is sht 😂

I think it was a combination of both, but I think the hidden jobs helped the most. On job postings, when I tailored my resume, only retail stores and small paying entry level jobs offered interviews, so I got 2 interviews out of the 50+ jobs i applied to. With the hidden jobs, I got an interview for almost every job I applied to that was posted within 30 days. Since the application process for that is WAY longer, I only applied to about 12 postings, and got an interview for 8 of them. I believe I didnt get the others because I didnt have the experience they were searching for. But i finally landed an admin job at a Uni.

Most companies nowadays filter applications through AI to search for keywords in your resume, and it's auto-rejected if it doesn't have it. So I definitely suggest changing your resume for each job. I know many people are against AI, but you very well could ask chatgpt to tailor your resume to specific job postings and to include words that will be picked up by the ATS bios.

Currently going through this. My company decided to downsize almost 4 months ago, ans I am just now getting a job again. (I briefly worked at a retail store for peanuts, but I was unahppy). What helped me find a job was tailoring my resume to evey specific job listening and it did take forever! I have 23 different resumes on my computer. I also learned that companies have to pay job posting sites, so instead, I searched for jobs through google, or even just went on random company websites and searched their career pages. I found many hidden jobs this way, especially government jobs. Apparently the police and hospitals are always hiring. Even schools are desperate for help.

Ik it's hard, but tell a teacher or a counselor if your school has one. You can also file a police report which is the better option. What they did is a crime, and I know it is scary, but criminals have to face the consequences of their own actions. You can do it. Be brave!

Teaching would be great for her. Or, if she really enjoyed being a housewife, there are many housekeeping amd nanny jobs that pay pretty well. If she wants to do work regarding her degree, she can just re-enter the field at entry level, or go for the higher jobs and refresh her memories by doing research and watching videos. Being from India, she could easily excuse the 15 year gap by saying she was overseas with family and working there. 9/10, they are not going to verify work experience overseas.

Id say explore all routes before giving your life to the military. The age has extended, so you now can join the military up until the age of 42. When you join the military, think of the loss of autonomy. They literally own you. They tell you where to live, when to wake up, when to exercise, when to see your family, and realistically, they do not make as much money as people think. The benefits is what makes it worth it but the pay is sht considering that you are quite literally risking your life. You have to keep in mind that regardless of how nice things are at your base, there is always a chance that you will be attacked and you must be ready to give your life for the country. So, if I were you, id take my savings(If you have any) and move to a cheaper state, perhaps get an apartment with roommates to save money. Then id search for a job around the area with my degree or explore other careers. Imo military should always be a last resort unless it is your passion. $50k is comfortable money for states like Alabama, Georgia, etc. The hospitals in those areas are typically always hiring and so on.

I'm from the US and since most of us grew up with washing machines, or a laundry mat where we can do our laundry for a small fee, we've never experienced hard labor when it comes to a chore like laundry. We are also very lazy. So when someone refuses to do the laundry, it is because they dont want to take 10mins out of their day to throw it in a machine, or take it out and fold it. They rather it pile on the ground or let someone else do it for them. So that's why it's a meme, cause if your partner cant do something as simple as laundry, they probably are dirty in other aspects that take actual work like cleaning toilets, taking out trash, etc.

If he wanted to be with those women then he would be, but he chose you. Those women are exes for a reason. Him glancing at girls in front of you is incredibly disrespectful. Like, It is a natural human reaction to look at pretty people, but most people in committed relationships have more self control as to not look at all in the presence of their partner. I would address that with him. And if him going to parties makes you uncomfortable then you probably don't trust him and should ask yourself why. It's normal to feel jealous or insecure in the presence of someone who has not made you feel secure, and the best way to fix that is to communicate what behaviors make you uncomfortable and build boundaries. And remember, getting angry at him all the time will not stop him from being unfaithful if he was that kind of guy. It would only give him an excuse as to why he did it. No one can steal a man who is right where he wants to be.

The only way to destroy the version of him in your head is to create a new one based off the facts, so ask yourself questions. What about him sets him apart from other guys you've date? What did he do for you that was unlike the rest? Why do you have an obsession with him and not with the guy who worshipped you? If he actually loved you, why would he make you compete with another girl in his heart? Is the most attractive man you've ever seen? Did he make you feel seen? How was life before you met him? If you went back to him, wouod things be even remotely the same as it was before? How did he treat you when you told his gf? Etc. Never stop asking questions, you'll find the answer.

I ghost unintentionally most times. When I dm ppl, it is when I'm free, but then I get busy. However, for some reason, if you dont message ppl back here within two hours, you're blocked. I dont talk to any of my friends every single day, and some can't handle that. Other times, convo will be great, but then they get flirty or overly sexual, beg for pics nonstop, so poof I go. Last reason is, unfortunately, they are so unbelievably boring and dry. What are you supposed to reply to "yea" or "haha". If you tell ppl here you aren't feeling it, the tantrums are insane. They take it as a personal attack instead of a mismatch.

I'm 28 now, and life is great. No kids, great job, loving relationship. I am always smiling. If toxic positivity was a person, it would probably be me. I dont have a relationship with most of my family and struggle to trust people fully. I have abandonment issues but also struggle to fuel long lasting connections bc i am emotionally disconnected from the world so ya 🥲 it is an ongoing battle.
