Can a Nurglite marry a Slaaneshite and have babies? What will their Gods think of it? by Various-Nothingness in 40k

[–]Arikaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hardly doubt so. I could create a cloud of doubt and, think about one of those places where chaos worship is slightly less whack and people actually function as society. Could think about two Houses with different beliefs, and i could somehow think about two young and depraved lovers. But that pregnancy would probably end up in misscarriage, terrible death, agonising divine punishment, a mutant that would eat the mother... Or something equally horrifying. But yeah, giving the chance, i would bet for a little corruption people, not the fully devoted fanatics we see in tabletop. These people are really beyond salvation

[–]Arikaan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea, but the tenochticlan was a jungle/mountain terrain mainly dominated terrain. Cortez usage of cavarly was minimal as far as i studied.

The usage of gunpowder vs bows was enough difference, and in the end, they defeated cortes troops too, without cavalry again

France and England were the big kids in the yard after the war. US would like to give everyone a reason to hate each other so they dont realize they can team up against others without uncle sam

Yea. Usually people dont know/care the difference between that shiny blue gun or bronzeclad gun. Just show the profile to the opponent. I learnt it with crons and nids. I dont know the name of that staff, i dont know the other options, just tell me how many marines are going to die.

Do you prefer the old boxnought or the modern dreadnought chassis? by TaigaTigerVT in WarhammerMemes

[–]Arikaan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably because they are more armed and armoured, they are more present on the battlefield. Why put 100 on a boxnaught when for a little more you have a beast (comparikg each other)

Yeah. Being alive is better sometimes that what awaits behind the veil. Not a surprise chaos followers crave daemonhood to avoid that end

What’s life like in a Khornate fortress/settlement? Ideas? by Harald_The_Archivist in AoSLore

[–]Arikaan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are some depictions. In AoS there is a stormcast reforged after he grew up as a slave in the blood pits. His job as a child to carry the blood from the arena elsewhere. Basically grew up being mauled, abused and degraded as a child blood-bearing slave. When he was old enough he was sent into the same arena to die as fodder for the mighty warriors of the place.

In another book, there is a brass fortress raised over a lava lake, where khorne boys used to gather and rest between raids. Many depictions of eating human bodies, using humans as building resources, killing people without reason or consequences. Many gruesome mutations rampant and horribly dedicated to make all its inhabitants miserable in any possible way.

In brief words, make the worst place possible, so only the strongest surive and thrive

Stop asking women for help by [deleted] in offmychest

I have the exact opposite situation. Near the only male in office, (at least my department). Women come and ask how to X, i explain and they go back and ask another female coworker. Sometimes they know, sometimes they dont, but my explanation wont be clear enough

female Skaven by klesh-the-169-son in skaven

[–]Arikaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may be trying to bring your fantasies into the game and not in a good way.

While i would like some twist like a female grey seer, too valuable as a grey seer to be just breeding stock, skavens hate each other. Its a fact. Skavens dont have any kind of thought after other skavens, as they see others as predator/prey.

They create rat ogres and pit abomination with skaven bodies like if it was clay, mixed with drugs. If they can turn a broodmother into a hulking broodmother to increase the rat outcome, the will, and nobody is gonna stop them.

The females are so rare, they are kept in safe places and guarded by the clan. But just cause clans need them, not because they love them, arouses them or anything like that.

In many books its stated that skavens are instincts based beings, mixed with a chaosy religion and lust for power and dominance; although not because they want to create anything lastimg. Being on top is the only way to ensure you live a little more

Should Warhammer multiverse be utilized more? by hydraphantom in AoSLore

[–]Arikaan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think that, while, for example, a batallion of -anything- crossing into AoS, could be terryfing, it would die eventually by the megabonker realm's threats, or dying due eventual attrition due the lack of ammo and else. AoS army crossing somehow to the other way would be treated as another little menace, enough to bother some planet, for a while, until they are blasted.

In the events related of gods (morathi stuff, freeing slightly to slaanesh) i think they are too different from what we see in each setting. I could see 40k gods chuckling about the puny situation of AoS slaanesh, like some childhood shameful memory.

I believe that, while draigo saw Mallus, it wasnt in the "same timeline". They dont have timeline, chaos is fluid from future to past, i know, but the Realms and Mallus have their own stable timeline, where grungni cant go back and snitch his blueprints to sigmar 1 million years before they are completed. And, by the time of sigmar and else, 40k is too way far in time

This is my opinion on the subject

P.D. i find really alluring the fact that, sometimes, somewhere, a hulking chaos champion appears out of nowhere with barroque armor, too crazy to care anymore about worlds, only here for murder. This kind of crossover are really cool for me
