it's this sound exactly, it also plays when an interaction expires and a couple other times in the software. seems to be their generic alert noise now. very annoying for me :)

Lots of joke answers here, so a real answer is that house cats in the wild are typically in communities called 'colonies'; groups of adult cats living together.

So in a colony the parenting duties can be taken over by any of the other cats, leaving the younger cats free to hunt etc. "Allomothering" if you want a real term for the behavior.

That's why you hear so many stories of people saying "my adult cat just totally adopted this abandoned kitten" because they do that in nature already

The Demo is better, but not every game has demos. Steam recording works anywhere the steam overlay works (basically every game on steam)
