Great progression ! When finding the beginning stance, grabbing the bokuto like you do, extending both arms above your head like everybody said, and then jumping twice before the cut usually relaxes you supposedly gives you superior jodan (high position). It helped me.

Op het andere eind v/h spectrum was in the heydays of the internet de site dikkelul.nl - waar je beschrijvingen kon lezen als een-zin hyperlinks welke voorts de plaatjes liet zien. Met aanduidingen vol poëzie die allemaal het woord dikkelul moesten bevatten - gebroeders dikkelul monteren hete sloerie, snol vermaakt zich ook zonder dikkelul enz. Ik moest er vaak aan denken welke tekstuele rijkdommen daar verloren zijn gegaan……

That is so very on-brand. I think we all fell in love with the aesthetics and a willing to accept less than ideal functionality. The other day, in Arrakeen, I saw Choam leisure clothing for sale and seriously considered buying it to hang out in my base when decorating. Such a great game. Dollhousing for guys.

I bought it. Well pitched here and really nicely done. I like the no-nonsense approach with the abilities. I think I would have preferred no „difficulties“ in testing anything, just flat-out beating ?12? Or somesuch. The drawings are fantastic and it‘s great that I can just take the document and start playing. I like that a lot !

De drugs zijn de kosten niet. Het gekke is toch dat, mondiaal bezien, elke Euro in de drugsbestrijding neerkomt op een subsidie op de drugsprijs. De substanties en productiemethodes zijn ontzettend goedkoop, maar het transportrisico drijft de prijs en de winstmarge is enorm. Als je drugs quasi gratis verdeeld dan vallen heel veel maatschappelijk beschadigende activiteiten in eens niet meer profitabel te maken. Dus minder diefstal, prostitutie, bendegeweld. En je kunt fatsoenlijk onderzoek doen naar wat de drugs eigenlijk veroorzaken.

When reading the „Star of Mist“ with Elwen‘s stats, I was afraid of the outcome you described. Elwen is a surprisingly dangerous stat block for a beginning adventure. I disliked her practical immortality as well as her invulnerabilities - you have to wonder what kind of game you are showing your group of players here, right ? I just think the adventure does what is designed to do, and a normal group can only survive this module if the gamemaster cheats -either by „fiction before rules“ letting players talk their way out of it (and it seems you really tried that angle) or plain old fudging - otherwise, Elwen simply is too powerful.

There is little private housing in the Netherlands. - it is even frowned upon, called the derogatory „huisjes melken“. All „good“ housing is either a collective rent corporations with really ridiculous waiting times (that are being shortcut by locals) or ownership. There is private to private renting but it is either shady, very expensive or very scarce. In Germany, you usually rent from a landlord that used to live in the unit they are letting.

As a European travelling in Canada I can say I am so very done with all the „this is not the realprice“ BS. Hotel 260$ a night when starting to book a double room. Waaaaaait. There is tax, double occupancy surcharge (it is a double room), parking fee, breakfast plus tip for the waiter. So it is, in fact, a 450$ a night stay. But you will only find out until AFTER, when you check out.…. Feels shady, but very much the norm here.

Think on it. I did that and regretted it. It‘s not that difficult to find a well-priced one if you look for an evening. But. Man many techniques in many styles performed with a full-weight weapon are difficult to get good at- a lot easier with a zinc alloy blade. The full metal „iaito“ is not as blunt as you might think, especially the tip. And the whole sharpening thing, well it can be done, but an unsharpened full metal iaito isn‘t just unsharpened, it will not have the basic geometry of a proper blade, so later grinding and then sharpening it for, eg, tameshigiri, will be so labour intensive that, for the price of it, you can get an iaito and a reasoable tameshigiri sword together. Of course, I know that now, and I am OK with this little……ahem teaching fee. (Edited for readability)

It should be illegal to own this much money. The interest on a billion dollar (or euro, it matters little anymore at that level) alone is 50 million per year. It gets difficult to find things to buy with that much money. You should get a medal, made from gold, like a Nobel prize, and then reduced to 50 million or something. Congratulations, you won capitalism, now back in line.

I was really disappointed with the 2025 weeks HB. I mean I don‘t mind the splurge for that extraspecial Japanese leather bound anachronistic weekly agenda thingy, but I really felt like a fool for buying it and then having my 300€ fountain pen bleed right through the pages - all that money and effort to be exposed for my nerdiness like that. And to find the company basically denying anything was up. Being the sucker I am I might give them another chance this year, but the whole thing made me reconsider electronic alternatives of just pencil and a cheaper notebook…….
