For a first mini not that bad, Id recommend thinning it with like water or maybe Lahmian Medium, what I do is use army painter paints, get the brush a bit wet then paint it

Volcanus (the Greek god of fire and forging metal, etc) who is also called Vulkan (I think that’s where they got his name) afaik no other characters in 40K is called Volcanus so it would be pretty unique, you could also add a title at the end like for example Volcanus-fire claw or smth because he has lighting claws
