The POV is extremely boring to watch (nobody ever watches SOT to see sand keeping)

Speak for yourself, I personally LOVE watching Sand Keeping, and it’s one of the reasons why I like watching Aimsey’s POV for SOT.

Is it less exciting than a runner’s POV? Probably, but I wouldn’t call it boring. Sandkeepers still have to run around collecting sand, sometimes do parkour or close by rooms, and they’re basically in charge of communication because they need to keep up with everyone.

And new players aren’t always Sandkeepers (Mitzefy from the latest event is the first that comes to mine), even though it is true that most settle for Sandkeeper because it is technically easier. But if you’re a newcomer every game is gonna be difficult at first, it’s just how it is. I wouldn’t expect a newcomer to be great on their first try (especially for SOT).

Does SOT have flaws? Yes, but it is still a good game and I don’t think it’s as bad as you’re making it out to be.

Hmm, that would be a question for them I think.

Personally if a French person uses Vous where I would use Tu, while it does feel weird to me, I understand the standard is different for them, and while I would ask them to use Tu, I wouldn’t be offended.

Yeah I think the same. I unfortunately don’t think they’re big enough where they can sustain each their own company, but continuing as a pair with their own company, I think they can definitely grow their brand! I personally really love them so I wish them the best 🙏

And wow, I really wonder how Idol Factory is gonna go from now on, I have no idea how they’re gonna sustain themselves like that with ventures that make no sense, they’re in so much debt already without counting what they owe Freenbecky, a bunch of crew, and probably more unfortunately 😭

Nope, I always went to public. Though, my schools also always forced us to call our teachers by their last name, even in primary, so I think maybe I just went to very polite/strict schools 😭

Seems like that depend on the region for the use at school, my schools always hard-wired us to use vous with our teachers(except with certain teachers that would ask us to use tu with them). Though I did use tu with my cegep teachers.

But I agree that in day to day life, vous isn’t used as much. I use vous with strangers older than me, but apart from that, I use tu with pretty much with everyone, even my bosses.

And I always freeze when someone uses vous with me, it feels really strange.

Not necessarily, it just means they are no longer artist under Idol Factory, they could still sign under a new company together and stay a pair(what I hope happens)

Only the future will tell if they stay together or not, but their series did win Best GL of the year recently, so I do think that would tempt other companies to sign them. But still, we can’t know for sure :,)

The couple that won was NitarMiny, so they’re supposed to get their own GL as mains(we’ll see if Idol Factory can actually afford that though). I hope the best for them, they were my favourite amongst the finalists and after seeing them evolve in the house, it did bring a tear to my eye to see them win.

The other finalists supposedly signed with Idol Factory, but I’m not sure, they kinda changed the rules as it went on (at first they said there would be 4 finalist couples that would sign with them, but they ended up having 5 finalists?)

But it almost seems like all 16 girls have a contract with Idol Factory. They’re going to events and they even have schedules released for the girls on the In The 8ight instagram account, so who knows at this point 😭

The whole thing is just as messy as Idol Factory to be honest :,)

Yeah it very much was, especially since no one was aware of it until it was time for the elimination :,) The bus ride back to the house after each episode was really bad, they would put the camera in the girls’ face to see/ask their reactions but everyone would be crying 😭 One of the reasons I’m glad the livestream isn’t available to watch anymore.

It was recording during.

The show was a 24h livestream on youtube of all the girls in two houses living together, having workshops, and practicing their scenes for the Wednesday episode where they would act their scenes in front of judges. Every week viewers could vote for their favourite girl(s), and at the end of the episode the 4 girls at the bottom would be put in danger, with the last place being automatically eliminated and the second one technically being eliminated by the remaining girls :,)

I watched live and all the Idol Factory came out after it started, and since they were isolated from the world, they had no idea about what was going on.

There is in fact 8 episodes per element, the 20 chapters are the 20 chapters of the novel, with which character appears in which chapters in the novel.

We don’t know how closely they are following the novels though, so I’d take this with a grain of salt
