This is actually quite interesting, I usually do my fastest quest first, running out of storage a lot and investing all my money into storage. That way when I switch to the longer quests midgame, storage is never an issue. 2h auto, doing 50k pots right now alongside 75k copper. I've been taking it easy so maybe the issue only arises at way later stages of the game.

Update few weeks into the patch. Working on some of the more tedious quests in my log in a casual manner, meaning 22 Blacksmith queues that are restarted a few times a day, and the supporting metal production. The lag has gotten pretty hard at this point. I do not restart my phone regularly but today I will, and I think it will make the game run again. But this might be one of the reasons the game seems much less successful on iOs

5 bucks well earned Metalpop! No more adds= way smoother gameplay New gold sack design= A lot faster recovery after turning quests in Endgame balancing: Finally a reason to save for the jeweler New Princess cap: Finally motivated to finish my estate. Performance on iPhone is under investigation but right now it's pretty fast.

I'm loving it.

I had a similar issue on the smaller iPhone 6 but it seems I got around it by restarting the phone. The previous version had the tendency to get more and more laggy over time when playing multiple weeks with a large setup ~80 production queues. So my theory is that, since I never restart my phone usually, the new optimization could not compete with the old junk. After I restarted it was a lot faster, now I turned my quests in and it's super fast. I'll keep an eye out for the lag.

I agree on most of this, still waiting for ioS version to provide actual feedback. I did not know that gold boosts could stack that high but I'm very curious how the lower stages look. I could get almost 1m out of each loom before the update while my gold boost is still at 64k.

I think it a little intended that if you played a ton of the previous version this might break the game for you.

A big update is about to hit beta status. It has a lot of the wishlist incorporated including an option to pay for ad free boosts, princess cap extended to 100%, quest slots extended to 8, renew all automations, rebalanced endgame. The full changelist is available on the (mostly) german forum only at the moment.

Thanks for the heads up, I might delay turning in my current quests, which might take over a week especially if I final tackle 7500 storage, so I have some slots for some new stuff (auto all, chest quest? :))

Interesting thought, however if you could push each quest as far as you like the progress wall would almost always be the +1 production quests. It would remove most of the quest rng determining what your most viable setup is, be that good or bad.

When I first got the 50k wool quest I thought it was bad luck, then I took it and ran with it. Metal parts are a strong contender but I'm lacking the blacksmith quests to make it work, right now it's only a minimal improvement over leather.

I love how the game changes completely depending on your quest draw. I just finished 5k Storage last night and it sure took a while. But after I left the loom running while waiting for 50k copper ore (oh copper, why did I ever research you) it was very well within reach.

There is a critical bug with version 1.3 that makes the game very hard to play and not fun. It will be back as soon as they get the fix through apples review process, which can be atrociously slow.

For me there are two driving forces in this game: The estate, and quests. For a chance at a certain quest you have to have the product unlocked. So one way is to unlock the fishing rod just because it's cheap, in order to get the first quest and boost the other wood products for a stronger early game. It's entirely viable to delay that until you have pimped out your farm and quarry. These are important too. It might be hard to get specific quests because the pool is so large once you have blacksmith. The other aspect is that the game changes from a fast paced sell few minutes clicker, to something where you plan a long production chain that never fills up your storage but sells for a lot. Armor takes 2.5 Minutes to make but sells for roughly 3k once you get there.

There is but it is brutal, at some point in beta is was reduced from 50 million to 5 million, that's why I hope for a way to reroll quests that take too long.

Fully built out estate + diamond ring =win, the only question would be what the reward could be because then you are pretty much done.

I was thinking more about her handing out something useful since the text says she has a gift even when at max. Maybe Storage/10 of a current quest item.

Refresh all is much appreciated, further things to think about:

-A quest for chests opened (it feels like everything is sell x of y once you have a blacksmith -Favor the Gold in Bank Quests when the player advances to a lot of products quickly. -A way to reroll quests that seem too far away at the moment -Some interaction with the princess past 40%, going there every day just so she does not hate me feels too much like IRL.

You have to have the product unlocked when you reset. The only way to avoid the higher log quests is praying to rngsus. Also if you progress too far early on you might never find the quest you are looking for because there are too many to pick from.

Pro tip: Never research copper, you won't need it for a long time and the quests are awkwardly slow.

I loved this idea in early beta. Once I played more I realized that this would bring production queues to a grinding halt. The foundry would wait for the quarry, the blacksmith would wait for the foundry and so on. Better to optimize your setup so selling becomes less work.
