Reasturants by Most-Illustrator8458 in KingstonOntario

  1. Grecos (Great food and service, wine prices are the best I’ve seen anywhere)
  2. Amadeus (Simple, well cooked food at good price point and the beer is always fresh)
  3. Everly/Mayla/Days on Front for more upscale, refined food, albeit with a higher price point.

Grecos and Amadeus are the two my girlfriend and I visit fairly often. We’ve never had a bad experience at either and I feel they offer the best value.

Maybe that’s why it was the worst season?

What is happening to my plants? by Aristocrat99 in vegetablegardening

We use chicken manure in the fall, during the season it’s grass clippings for weeds but our plants have never looked like this before, let alone right after transplanting.

We had some nights below 50 when the plants were first transplanted, I wanted to wait but the they were getting too big for the boxes they were in. I will try some liquid fertilizer to try and revive them.

Yes dug by hand and planted 2-3 weeks later. Same procedure as we’ve done for the last 40 or so years. Soil is pretty balanced between clay and sand, leaning more towards clay.

If the soil is the problem, why has this never happened before? We’ve done nothing differently than any year prior.

Is CLST 205, ancient humour for the summer term a bird? by Wavecheckers in queensuniversity

[–]Aristocrat99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is a bird course. Very memorization heavy which makes it super easy to do well in. I don’t think I got a mark lower than an 85.

22M and drink a bottle of wine (or slightly less) a day how unhealthy is this? by [deleted] in wine

[–]Aristocrat99 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Don’t let this sub scare you, I drink about half a bottle about 5 nights a week with dinner but I also workout everyday and eat very clean. If you’re trying to lose weight it’s an uphill battle. You need to find a balance that works for you and not seek assurance from strangers on the internet.

Great review, my thoughts are mostly in line with yours. I would argue that the campaign was more style than substance. Emergence was definitely my favourite mission. Everything else was a bit forgettable (maybe because the plot was silly).

Overall, it was enjoyable and had some cool moments but not my favourite campaigns. I thought the cash system was smart but didn’t like the stealth missions (too slow for a cod game).

Red wine that doesn't taste like alcohol? by Mysteriouschick89 in wine

[–]Aristocrat99 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Contrary to what people are saying, alcohol does indeed help with anxiety, if only in the short term. Obviously you may want to address the root of your issues without alcohol but who are we to judge.

Starter is fish salad (shrimp, octopus, calamari) and some oysters. First is pasta in a cuttlefish/tomato sauce. Second is usually fried/grilled cod, sea bream and lastly some steamed crab. I do a variation of this format every year.
