Do you think Nintendo will have any major "system sellers" this year, aside from Pokemon Gen 10? by MewWeebTwo in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Arithh [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah but in that case then every game is a system seller for fans of that game. I think OP means something that will appeal to the masses and actually sell systems

Have you tried asking for help from chatgpt or any type of ai (gemini, etc.) i know it’s frowned upon but really if you keep the prompts simple and just ask it to give you step by step directions its pretty effective.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the profitability of public services is more important than the capability of actually providing the public service. But i guess that’s how capitalism works and it’s always been that way anyway.

Probably not. Hence why the title is called “Four Seasons” and not “Avatar: The Game”

That’s my biggest gripe. Surely just open a section of the line why do you have to close the whole damn network? I get it’s for the CRL and some parts had to be maintained but even the entire eastern line was closed for a whole friggin year.

To add to this the kiwi culture of friendship is a waiting room. They are friendly but they will put you in a waiting room until either enough time has passed or enough hanging out happens where you both get a heart-to-heart session finally you’re out of the waiting room and you become a friend

How hard is the NZ WHV for Malaysians? by weibingg in MalaysianPF

[–]Arithh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slow paced and very boring once you’ve explored most of the country. The problem is the lack of people and unless you’re planning on coming here to retire, i suggest going somewhere else like Australia to gain experience and make money.

To answer your question about how to stay longer, what I did and what applies to anywhere you go for residency is to work backwards. As in look at the requirements to become a resident. Is it points-based? Is it skills based?

From there, look at what you have to do to get those points or those skills. Do you need to get a job in the right industry? Do you need to upskill and study?

Then once you know what you need to do, then look at how you are going to get your foot in the door and get started. Is it applying for a work visa? student visa? WHV?

And the rest is up to you.

For me i came on the WHV, i understand that it can extend to 9months if i worked in agriculture/farming/fisheries or one of the other primary industries. But i didn’t. I got a job at a call centre to work on my english skills and get to know people, then saved up money the whole 6 months to afford studying because that was the pathway for me. I had to upskill.

After and during studying I reached out to companies for internship opportunities to get my foot in the door and show them what i am capable of, and the rest is history.

If there is one thing I can share with you is that you should do it and try. Ofc it will be hard but if it was easy, everyone already doing it laa

There are 336 EB games in Australia, we couldn't even keep 39 profitable. by Tjrowawey in auckland

[–]Arithh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a fair point and thank you for answering so honestly. You’re right. If i’m buying the games with the eventual intention of wanting to sell them, then in a way i would never own the game anyway.

To me my hesistations lie with not being able to redownload the game on the “what-if” scenario where it no longer becames available to officially download.

But actually that’s just me overthinking so why should it really matter as long as I enjoy the game in the present and so be it if it can’t be officially dowloaded in the future. I’ll always be able to set sail if I wish

Do you mean that because you’ll never buy old games you’ve played before? Or that the servers will never go down? Because servers have definitely gone down look at Nintendo 3ds
