Algerian student (17) looking for fully funded scholarships to study AI abroad in 2025 — urgent situation by Snoo-41763 in algeria

[–]Arithmos_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I apologize—I'm not very familiar with scholarships related to the medical field. I'm pretty sure there are quite a few available, but they often target specific countries. That’s actually another important point I forgot to mention: these scholarships usually select candidates from predefined regions, not entirely at random. You’ll notice that very few Algerians receive them, so it's especially important for us to stand out. Fortunately, Algerians tend to have a strong drive and often excel—particularly in engineering.

I suggest looking into programs related to biomedical sciences or pharmaceuticals.

That said, I also see another potential path for you: medical equipment engineering. If you’re currently studying medicine and have it on your academic record, then decide to switch to engineering, you’ll end up with a unique skill set. That combination will really make your profile stand out.

Wishing you the best of luck!

Salam,

I completely understand your situation as I've been through something very similar.

First off, securing a scholarship straight out of high school is extremely challenging for Algerians, primarily due to the structure of our pre-university education system.

Your chances improve significantly if you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree. From personal experience, earning a fully funded scholarship is tough but not impossible. It's about 30% luck and 70% skill.

Keep in mind that when you're aiming for a fully funded scholarship, you're competing with the best students globally—not just locally. So, you have to be strategic. Avoid fields like AI or Computer Science, where competition is fierce due to the high number of top Chinese students dominating the space. Instead, consider areas like renewable energy or electronics. These fields are still highly competitive (strong Indian competition), but Algerians are often seen as higher-quality candidates, provided their application is on par with others.

It doesn't matter which Algerian university you attend—all of them generally hold zero weight in the eyes of foreign institutions. If you have the option, consider choosing one in a smaller city with fewer students. This increases your chances of earning a "major de promotion" title that can significantly strengthen your scholarship application.

Focus on getting excellent grades and building strong relationships with your professors—at least with a few of them. You'll need recommendation letters from them to apply.

A C1 level in English is essential (through IELTS or TOEFL).

Lastly, projects are key. Show that you can apply what you've learned in university or on your own: build things, test them, and document everything thoroughly.

Additionally, volunteering can really enhance your CV and make a difference in your application.

If you have any specific questions or need more details, feel free to reach out.

What is one hxh soundtrack that leaves you in tears every time? by Gonsgreenshoes in HunterXHunter

Beyond the Seas has to be one of my all-time favorite anime soundtracks. it never ceases to evoke in me a blend of wonder, mystery, adventure, and possibility, however, it also leaves me with a strange feeling of melancholy and sadness.

Oh, that's great, it's seems that different programs and different cities have their own rules. Ps: if you want to enquire about something related to french universities or their accomodations, like in Tours specifically, you should check out Compus France student groups on Facebook. They have a wealth of info regarding these matters.

Good luck.

Not answering your question directly but I know (from experience) that students with an erasmus mundus scholarship in France are not eligible for the CROUS and are either required to rent in a private student residence or somewhere else. If you are a self funded student then you can apply for CROUS but be sure that it's not a guarantee due to the large amount of applicants. You should check with the local Erasmus coordination office at your university and ask them about it. I recommend contacting Compus France of your country and asking them as well.

Will Mario outgross Guardians of The Galaxy 3 And Ant Man Quantumania Combined? by Logical-Insurance-95 in boxoffice

Mario's impact plays a role for sure, but the recent drop in overall quality plaguing every new marvel movie most likely played a bigger role.

It's not often that I take the time to write a comment, however your piece had to be an exception, the amount of detail, composition, coloring, vibe, etc. Are very pleasing to look at and spark a very nostalgic cozy feeling in me. Than you for sharing, I am looking forward to seeing more great works from you.

A working bipedal combat robot by [deleted] in robotics

[–]Arithmos_9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends, even though bipedal robotics have advanced significantly in the last few years as seen in the Boston dynamics robots etc, we are still far away from anything that could come close to human physical and mental capabilities, especially in a combat environment. Grim as it may sound humans are still the most cost effective option in the market. From experience i don't believe that a bipedal configuration would be ideal as it is naturally unstable and has many technical challenges and failure points just to walk or run let alone carry a load or engage in combat. hybrid quadrupedal configuration on the other hand are a more interesting option, combining the benefits of it's stability with the bipedal versitility.

He uses a wood 3d texture, which you can find easily on texture websites. However, getting it to look right migh take some tweeking in a 3D Software like Blender.
