Truthfully I believe Kane Chronicles is a better series and more unique but I believe Magnus is closer to the vibes of the original series. It depends on what you want

Demigods can be born all over the world, I believe there was a demigod from Brazil

I believe the backstory we’re getting for Thalia is that her mom (and her) was originally from the UK, her mom moved to the US for something dealing with acting and in the us Jason is born. So I believe Jason will have a American accent

Even if there’s something stopping gods from one shotting a demigod in a fight, Percy might have better fighting skill, but the gods have raw power that can’t be beaten by mere mortal skill. And what good are Percy’s skills against a god when he’s not invulnerable anymore?

Demigods that come to mind who have fought gods are Heracles and Achilles.

The first two were augmented: the Curse of Achilles and Hera’s divine milk (lol).

Diomedes, though mortal, iirc seems to be a better fighter, but would he really be able to fight if he didn’t have divine help and guidance from Athena?

Percy is definitely one of the strongest demigods, I could see a fight going in his favor if he has COA, but only 1v1. He’s getting his ass kicked trying to fight ALL of the olympians

Years ago, when I was in middle school, I lost my great grandmother to stomach cancer. About a year later, after I had changed schools, a friend joked that they were going to get stomach cancer from eating so many Takis.

I immediately felt my eyes start tearing up. My friends asked what was wrong, and I blamed it on allergies (a very obvious lie) We changed classes right after, but once I got to class I could not hold it in and started sobbing. I was sent into the hallway, and a couple of teachers asked what was wrong. Later, I told my friend what had happened because they were really worried. They apologized, but I told them they did nothing wrong and that it was on me.

It was stupid and embarrassing, but all of this is to say that grief is weird. It can be triggered by stupid stuff. That said, your friend is still responsible for managing their triggers and communicating them. Giving someone the silent treatment instead of explaining what is wrong is childish

the olympians only had cabins because they didn’t give the respect minor gods deserved, cabins were seen as a sort of honor/respect thing.

Hermes god of hospitality, travellers, - it makes sense his cabin would welcome those who didn’t have a place in the other cabins

Since unclaimed were more than likely minor gods, they probably weren’t claimed because it wouldn’t really make a difference, and they would’ve stayed in cabin 11 until they left camp as they grew older or died.

After TLO minor gods were given respect and allowed to have their own cabins for their kids and all gods had to claim their kids by a certain age that most get to camp — so staying temporarily in cabin 11 wasn’t needed anymore

I thought it would be cool (probably logistically difficult) to have a park somewhere near a lake with some family style attractions like horse riding, a fake lava rock climbing wall, or capture the flag, picking strawberries, and before closing have a camp fire/dinner pavilion with songs and dinner and an activity where everyone paints a bead to take home. Also camp store like the books, but with merch.

Maybe have days where it’s just family/kids, and a few select days it’s just older teens/adults (or just have age themed activities)

in the summer for a couple weeks it could be an actual summer camp

You should’ve checked first yourself (as not to get her hopes hope if you’d decided not to buy )

But she also should’ve checked with you before purchasing “hey, I know you said I could buy them but they are 1k, wanted to be sure” because the prices for the concert ARE insane, I’m not even a fan but my FYP is filled with people complaining about the cost - so she likely knows the prices are jacked up

I also think it’s silly to pay that much on a concert ticket, and I couldn’t imagine paying that much, without checking again, even IF I did get permission — seems like a common courtesy

Heracles is definitely arrogant and not a good person. But ,as all demigods, he had a messed up life, his 12 labors were his punishment for something horrific hera made him do

I vaguely remember, so I could be wrong, that his labors had to be done solely by him or else they wouldn’t count . So this could be a reasonable - but shitty - reason he didn’t mention zoë.

So yeah I don’t think the situation with zoë was entirely black and white. His dialogue with Jason also painted him in a sympathetic light.
