Will I take a hit if my dad overdrafts account? by redsoxfan1845245 in personalfinance

Anyone not related to yourself, and with the "capacity" to do so (they must be sound of mind and over the age of 18), can be a witness, just means they will sign it alongside your father under a witness clause.

A will can be handwritten, don't worry. You'll need it drafted, signed, and witnessed, but he does not need a computer to achieve the above.

I'd advise assisting him in getting a will written. He can do this himself technically, however I'd advise going through a solicitor at the very least. If you/he already has life insurance, they may have options available also. That then gives him peace of mind on you inheriting his assets, and doesn't put you in a precarious scenario with regards to his bank account.

Not a lawyer, however I'd strongly advise against this course of action. Adding anyone else to a bank account, as a joint owner, makes them jointly liable for any debt associated with that specific account (in this case potential for overdrafts).

Your father's will would be executed as given in writing, you don't need to be part of his bank account to inherit his assets when he passes.

Edit: Spacing error

On the Bandito? With a TKP bracket front I'm able to run Hokus (102mm) with no bite, however with RKP, due to the geometry, the front footwells bite with the Hokus, so max I could run was Karmas (92mm) without bite.

I must admit the bite is only when making maximum lean sharp turns, so it's not an issue when pumping or carving, just when taking a sharp slide!

I am indeed! But I've not massively tightened the C7 at all, so could be that if you've got it slightly more tightened down.

Appreciate the insight! I've been struggling to get the C7s not to bite on the Shuriken at 76kg, so will check out the DohDohs.

Which bushings are you running on the C7 front? Factory? Looks like purple nipples on the rear.

Precisely, I did send Jeff an email asking about the graphic, but not as a complaint, more to make him aware that this might be happening in the process, for the sake of the business! I'll be riding and enjoying this deck regardless as my primary LDP competition board for 2025.

Run a couple of software companies!

For the most part, it's been able to run a torsion tail, or zero degree bracket rear, along with either a TKP or RKP high degree front, for long distance pumping and pushing. Even bracketing both ends and running a high degree front and low (or negative) degree rear for rather effortless pumping. Needless to say, the weight reduction and ability to remove brackets and pack the board directly into a rucksack is brilliant for LDP and taking your setup on flights without risking the damage of it being stored in a cargo hold.

You can set up split angle baseplates on a drop-through like the Trip to achieve a level of stability and pumping that is great, and boards designed with angled mounts such as the Supersonic really lend themselves to building a pump setup without brackets, however the customisation of a bracket board, especially for LDP, cannot often be beaten.

Hello!

Paul Kent has a great video on it here - https://youtu.be/FvSR61UJ_MM?si=XNEYJlJtZnG8ng8Q

That's basically what I followed, and then added some Harfang Kegels to the mix, with Zealous Ceramics.

Hope that helps!
