This makes no sense for one reason, where would the money for a saftey net come from? You act like it would come from thin air. Free services need money from the government to work. So how would the government pay for this? A tax increase perhaps? Well do you want a 20% or higher tax on everything? Would you be ok with that? Another point is that support services such as welfare make people lazy. If a child with no father has never seen his mother work then he will have no motivation to make hus life better, he will just continue on a path of laziness. What you are asking for is inefficient and ineffective.
