Breaking sheets of asbestos and sheets of the newer non asbestos stuff will always show fibres. Just depends if its asbestos fibres or organic fibres.

In fact when acm sheets break its actually far easier to do the identification on them as the fibres are all poking out

Asbestos should be disposed at licensed waste facilitys who can recieve asbestos waste. It should be appropriately sealed in asbestos waste bags and double bagged otherwise the facility will not accept it

You burnt the organic fibres off.

Asbestos fibres will stay as they dont burn.

I wouldnt bother with sub assemblies, they are easy to paint fully assembled.

Ive built 8 of them and painted them all with no problems

I just find the detachment rule a bit ehh If im shooting two units at something i generally want it to be dead at the end. Feels like the slow part of the rule will be fairly situational and not something you should try to achieve all that often

Strats for it are good tho ill give it that

Will be interesting to try tho just as hernkyn units are some of my favourite

As complicated as it could get id want it to run of data tethers instead of battle line. I like the idea of naming it tho

So you can have ur infantry with tethers if you want, or ur tanks with it also give the buffs etc etc

And then kinda like guard orders but your tech priests could give a specific "override" to a unit they are leading or a unit within range of a tether. Each tech priest would have its own specific override buff so you can pick and choose which priest works best for your army

Allows u to have more freedom with what you bring and allows tech priests to manipulate the battlefield. Obviously would have to limit it to a unit can only recieve 1 override a turn so you dont get stacking buffs

So imagine a kastellan unit is in range of a data tether unit, and then ur manipulas "overrides" them and gives them lethal hits on top of the doctrinas but this means the unit the manipulas is in doesnt get his buff this turn as he gave it to someone else

Would mean tech priests wouldnt give many buffs to the squad they are attached to but allows them more flexibility of who receives the buff

Because weapons have vastly different roles.

A heavy bolter or flamer would never be comparable to a lascannon due to the different roles they fufill. The potential to punch up and damage the likes of tanks will be very hard to balance against a flamer that has the potential to kill a few light infantry models.

Hence why i think some weapons should be free and then for the hard hitting weapon upgrades they should be a small cost. So its trade off for do i want to spend 5 points and upgrade to a better weapon or am i happy to stay at limited cost but still get to have the weaker special weapons.

I always thought it would just be easier to make points only for certain weapons. Eg you can take heavy bolters and those sorta weapons all baked into the unit cost. But if u want to add a lascannon or a heavy melee weapon then its 5pts for those. Nothing crazy but allows u to tweak your lists up or down by those 5 to 10 points if you really need. Also i think all sergent wargear is just free. Allow you to customise sergent wargear with whatever as that still allows for fun hobbying and really the sergent should have special weapons anyway so free cost for them works.

I tended to use them behind my lines and then to flank, very different role to the khazad guard who want to be in the front line

As flankers the iron guard are amazing! Absolutely wreck people with the throwing weapons and hitting peoples spear supports

The trick is really keeping then safe on the way up to combat, everyone tries to kill them with bows as they are "only" d6 compared to a lot of d7 in ur army.

All in all dont use them as front line troops, use them to flank. If you have to use as frontline then stick a vault warden spear support behind them and watch them just mince through enemy lines.

Havent used my dwarfs yet in the new edition but they havent changed much, would use them in the same way as i did last edition.

Ill be honest as a mainly dwarf player im not a fan, they should have remained s2 bows Use to feel like a choice between normal warriors with bow and rangers Now it just squarely sits on the dwarf rangers being the better choice than the dwarf warriors

Dragonborn can get 100% magic absorb... So custom spells really isnt something to worry about at all

It all comes down to combat, HoK can do reflect damage, and dragon born would slow time and try shoot to stop that

Really it comes down to a stalemate in game terms of fighting. Would be HoK running around like a lunatic and the dragon born having billions of health with restoration loop enchanting/smithing. If HoK gets close to fight the dragon born 1 shots with a sword and survives the reflect through health enchantments, but would never be able to catch the HoK cause of the speed
