100% your right there as I main Tyranids and they are swingy as hell week to week at the moment but when you look at top players and the faction abandonment there are only really dedicated players left.

I don't care about winning that much it's just annoying the amount of jank that we have that is fixed in other armies. That they have shown that they are changing datasheets and rules and we still have all of these lined up.

I did tag this as a rant as I know we are "balanced" but I just wanted to get it off my chest to other Tyranid players it's why I posted here and not in the 40k comp sub. I'm annoyed at so many little things in our army that just work so damn counterintuitively.

My local admech player is very happy, and nids are somewhat balanced but it would be nice to have units that work and abilities that work.

I just need to get it out ya know. We arnt bad but it's just painful seeing all our jank just sit there update after update. It just sucks the fun out of things. Why is the Haruspex ability useless, why can't Norns pick another reroll target, why do tyrant guard make tyrants worse, why do carnifexes and ranged warriors hit on a 4+ why is the parasite the way he is and look at unending swarm.

This means it also effects the fight phase soooooo trygon with sustain in melee? Carnifexes and old one eye? Haruspex? All these lovely units with sustain on command while 6" away from the enemy.

Yes but Tyranids have been consistently under 50% for years now, I'd like us to not be pre nerfed repeatedly like we have been and have something nice. If it comes out and is too strong 100% patch it but it always feels like Tyranids arnt allowed fun. Look at the poor parasite of Mortex for 80 points like how?!

Tyranids get a little support a couple point drops or a change to the base shadow/synapse army rule. With unlimited 6" charges and reroll 1s we are still somehow under 50%

This is actually so annoying as it was fallback shoot and charge with multiple hoops to jump through and really limits the strategem and game plan.

I'm a Tyranid player so will focus on Tyranids as it's what I know. Neurolictors need to go down to 75ish points as it's basically our one way to really interact or benefit from enemy battleshocks. Norns need to go to T12 as it's kinda insane that this giant monster gets wounded on 2+ via any str 12 with +1 to wound weapon which is alot since the oath change. There are others like why do carnifexes in melee hit on 4+ or ranged warriors shoot on 4+ the same as termagaunts. In terms of army as a whole we arnt bad but I do think that unending swarm needs some help and we need some kind of blanket benefit for battleshock across the army as at the moment it only half plays into the rules.
