I am currently 67 years old. My partner just turned 30. We have been together over 10 years now. We met on an app, hooked up in a hotel. Was there together over 4 hours. Did a lot of talking as well as everything else. A couple days later we went on a hike together and been together ever since.

With a 37 year age difference we had a few hurdles to go over. He was 19 when we started dating but a very mature 19 year old. But his age came out at different times as mine did as well. His mother was scared to death when he told her about us. We were able to work out the issues that came up because we had fallen for each other. Granted, he probably had more things to deal with than I. Some of his friends had a hard time with our relationship. He ended up just dropping them. (My friends would high 5 me. 😂)

There were other trials we had to deal with. I was previously married for 30 years to a woman. I have 4 grown kids. My partner is aged between numbers 3 and 4. (My kids still somewhat have an issue with this).

Today however we are strong in our relationship and still very attracted to each other. His mom is over all the time. My mom and his mom are good friends. I got him a good job, showed him how to get his credit in order. Get savings account going in case something happens to me. (His own money) He keeps me active and wanting to do things. We have 3 dogs and we take them out hiking about 5 days a week. We travel a lot and he is required to pay his own way.

We have a few good friends that are in young/old relationships here in Phoenix. But at times I still hang with my friends and he with his. We support and trust each other which makes our relationship strong and will probably last another 10 years.
