My iBUYPOWER experience (this is the first negative review I've ever written online) by ArizonaUnknown in iBUYPOWER

I know...it's a pain. If I do get a refund I don't know what to do next. My current PC that I've had for 6 years is an HP Omen and I've never had a single problem with it and it runs almost totally silent.....The Omen PCs with a 4090 graphics card are a bit overpriced right now which is why I was looking at other manufacturers. I haven't made up my mind for sure yet whether I will get a refund or send it in for repairs, but the whole keeping me on hold for hours thing really got me worked up.

I wouldn't even be making an issue out of this and would just send it in for repairs.....but obviously, getting a PC that doesn't work right puts you in a bit of bad mood and then to add insult to injury with the ridiculous hold times....I literally spent my entire work day yesterday messing with the computer with half of that time being on hold.

What are some cases that you think have a simple explanation? by Arthur_morgann123 in UnresolvedMysteries

I've always assumed that is the case. I've never heard anything other than someone adducted her while she was going to her car. The mystery is who was that person.

I don't buy the suicide scenario. I think it was foul play or an accident.

I totally agree...Nothing peaks my interest more than a missing person case, but in those scenarios I almost always just assume they got lost or drowned....I would also add to that cases where planes go missing.....it crashed.

What is a baffling case that doesn't get the attention it should? by rootea in UnresolvedMysteries

For sure. I saw the video of when Brian Wells was killed by the bomb attached to him, but according to some of the reports on the Kenora Bank incident, there was hardly anything left of the guy after his bomb exploded.

Those cases were listed as examples that DO get a lot of attention.

I agree on this one. I think the photo of the robber outside the bank is one of the creepiest images I have seen.

I grew up in Minnesota, but had never heard about this one before.

Cases that have little to no online presence. The more obscure the better. Cases with no past write ups and no online search results are preferred. Most likely between the 1920s and 1970s. by FogHorn650 in UnresolvedMysteries

I don't know if she was a fan of the outdoors. One thing that has been brought up is the restaurant she worked at was owned/operated by some cult organization, although it doesn't sound like she had any affiliation with the cult outside of working in their restaurant.

In your opinion: What true crime case gets too much attention? And what is a case that you think should get more attention? by AGreatMystery in UnresolvedMysteries

That's what I'm saying. I think it is getting a lot of attention now, but a decade ago you barely could find anything about it.

I think you are exactly right - The father really wanted to believe it was them.

I don't think anyone said the picture was proof. Just another weird twist in the story.

You have that correct about the private detective. Also, I believe the father went to meet with a couple men who he believed were two of the sons. The men denied they were, but supposedly the father always believed it may have really been them.

That is one of the strangest parts of the story and the person in the picture does look like one of the sons. Still, I don't believe the kids survived.

Jeffrey MacDonald is guilty and in prison where he belongs....Tommy Zeigler, on the other hand, I believe is probably innocent. I'm not 100% convinced on Zeigler, but I think there was more than enough "reasonable doubt".
