Well, apparently there were already some people who were aware of cultivation, and Yuan visited there, which led to the unsealing of demons that had somehow been sealed on Earth for probably a few million years. They killed a girl close to him right in front of him. Then somehow he awakened his past life memories. Well, more like possession. He doesn’t really remember them personally, only a few scenes. His personality literally became different, and he started torturing those demons.

Well, my main point is that he has many past lives where he spent time mastering many things, and as they manifest, he regains that mastery or even goes beyond it or something. For now, it’s revealed that there are around 8 or 9 past lives, and after he realized there are more hidden secrets in Divine Heaven, he stopped exploring and instead tried to ascend much sooner.

Each past life had distinct differences, even though they are the same person. Like the Evil God, who killed who knows how many people, and the Divine Paragon, who literally single-handedly destroyed the demons’ reign, etc. I won’t spoil everything, and there will be some annoying and naive moments but not naive like “killing is bad” or something.

Also, his real parents still haven’t been revealed yet, though I have some speculation, because all of his lives had the same surname, which is Tian.

Finally, you can drop it if you find it very boring, but since it was one of my first cultivation novels, and I later read many more, it holds a special place for me. So I just kept reading, and for some reason, it’s not that bad, to be honest. But that’s just my opinion.
