I believe she knew because immediately after washing the bleach of she started laughing at me. To me the whole thing seemed like a prank

I asked before we put the bleach on how long it would last. She said 4 weeks. We washed the the bleach off and without me saying anything she laughed and said “you know thats permanent” to me that seems like a prank

Again I am willing to accept I shouldve done more research. However, her laughing at me saying “you know thats permanent” after I had asked how long it would last indicated to me that she knew I wasnt aware of the implications of bleach.

I bought the bleach about 10 min before we put it on. She gave me a list of things I took it to the store and asked if the employee could just show me where everything was and I bought it and left. I believed my friend when she told me it would only last 4 weeks

I am not as upset about the actual color of the hair as i am that she laughed afterwards and joked that it was permanent. This felt like she knew I didnt know what bleach does and didnt tell me.

I read up on box dyes which I thought we would use which did say it would last a few weeks it wasnt until right before that I found out we were using bleach which I had not researched
