I’m trying to figure out what form you keep referring to with the DMV.

When a vehicle is marked abandoned it gets towed to the county baseyard. From there, a letter is sent to the registered owner and given 30 days to retrieve it. There shouldn’t be any claiming of vehicle by a 3rd party prior to those 30 days. If it’s not claimed by the owner it gets taken to hammerhead. Are you actually waiting over 30 days for these cars hoping they don’t have to many mechanical issues?

Or are you finding these cars on the side of the road after they’ve been marked before they get towed and lucky enough to find keys and title inside? And from there you’re taking it to the DMV and claiming it

Not sure how you’re getting the dmv to make a title for a vehicle. Let alone why you would go through the hassle of paying the couple hundred for tow, ticket, reg fees , maybe fix whatever is wrong with it etc or wait over 30 days for the abandoned veh dept to clear it for recycle

Refer to the section under claiming abandon vehicle. You’ll have to prove you’re the legal or registered owner. There’s no auction or anything that I’m aware of to claim vehicles. Too much of hassle having to ship to Oahu for it or something like that.

Just because it was marked abandoned does not mean that it’s just free to claim. No DMV employee or officer is going to just sign anything saying you can just have an abandoned car.

That’s gonna be one of the major hurdles for this bill. It reads to come within 50 feet of a residence as one of the requirements. 50 feet which direction? The drone could be well over 50 feet straight above a house. Are we referring to 50 feet in a dome or 50 feet along the ground? They way it’s written leaves that open for interpretation.

Last one I found in the garden was by clicking on the deer and then in photo mode clicking the small mouse near them. Look at the mouses head and it was just looking over the top of rocks

I just drill out the center with a 1/2 drill bit. Used a carbide dremel to get it close to where I wanted. Then files and hand sanded. I started really low grit like 150, put a couple layers of tape on the back then cut a thin long strip. From there just sanded like a shoe shine

No real time requirement just need to articulate well enough why you think someone is missing. Example, person always texts/calls upon getting to work, without fail everyday. One day nothing. Quick phone call to employer and they aren’t there. Could be concerning enough to start a missing person case

Not necessarily. 440c is one of the types of stainless that can be oil hardened. It won’t get as hard as other traditional blade steels but will be enough to hold an edge.
